Thx for READING my guide. I'm NOT a pro Nasus player, I'm not even really doing ranked games. However I trust in my own skills with Nasus...and after leeching out this site and it's guides I thought I'd do one too.
After this having said let me tell you why I chose to make another Nasus guide.
ALL of the Nasus guides so far have gone with a typical Q-Farming-Nasus. However, there are times or enemy players that won't let you farm your Q. So I often come down to this build.
HOWEVER you may have seen I have 2 builds. First the typical, but also another one for being on a duo lane and a good-going toplane. When your opponents aren't zoning you out, you want to farm your Q as often as possible, so I take some CDR right from the start.
(Though I not recommend Nasus to lane with some1)
This builds only contain CORE-Items so far.
I get "Greater Marks of Desolation" for their APen. The APen you get will let your damage go through the roof. They will buy SO much armor...just because of you. ;)
The rest are my typical tank runes which make Nasus a VERY strong solo laner together with the masteries. You can get per Level runes but I like flat-ones more.
Only in my second build I also take "Greater Quintessence of Desolation" runes for more damage output.
We take 9/21/0:
3 Points in "Brute Force" for it's attack damage and 1 point in "Butcher" since it's the only other useful mastery.
We then take 4 Points in "Alacitry" to get the 10% APen from "Weapon Expertise".
3 Points in "Resistance" and "Hardiness" each to be even more tanky at start.
Same goes for the points in "Durability" and "Veteran's Scar".
So a solo top wants sustain? Get it with 3 points in "Vigor". Nasus is a slow fella so the MS from "Initiator" comes in handy. "Honor Guard" let's us be even more tanky, so does "Juggernaut"...points taken:)
I will just explain the changes I took.
Defense: 3 Points in "Enlightement" for it's CDR and only 1 in "Hardiness" and 2 in "Initiator".
Offense: We also get the 4% CDR from "Sorcery" and put the remaining point in "Demolitionist" just so we can push a little bit faster.^^
I prefer for solo top "Teleport" and "Clarity" since those 2 let you keep your lane forever...
Ghost for chasing. So...why not Flash? You will be an offtank...the time you want to flash you're most likely already dead.
Clarity to keep your mana up when SPAMMING your Q.
Other viable Summoner Spells:
Cleanse - No words...1 time free out of jail.
Flash - I prefer Ghost.
Ignite - They still won't die? BURN'EM!!
That's it so far. I hope you try and like my builds. I'll do some more changes these days so... let's see how this'll turn out. :)
