Introduction.

So this is my usual Xin build. As you can see it's pretty straight forward in the approach to the build. First things first. Playing Xin Zhao is pretty nasty in terms of damage. No matter what situation you're in, you're almost always going to get a kill. Also, Xin Zhao is a melee Attack Damage carry. Please don't try and make him a hybrid... His is meant to rock people's worlds with his ridiculous damage and awesome killing powers.

Build Order.

Things you should know about my play style with this build. I play very very very defensive until I hit level 3. Once I get my Q, W and E skill it's pretty much a kill. Now depending on who I'm with in my lane and/or who I'm up against, my build order will shift accordingly. Also, my build's final items will switch from game to game depending on what champions we are fighting. Usually the two items that change are Madred's Bloodrazor and Infinity Edge. Something I will even build a Trinity Force instead. From my experience, unless I'm ridiculously fed or my team is just "jacking off in the bushes", I never seem to get to that last item.

Get a feel, if you know what I mean.

You have to get a feel for when you can or can't get a kill with Xin... You can't charge into the enemy team expecting to get a pentakill... It won't happen, but odds are, if you play him right you will have no problem holding your own in any team fight or XvX situation.

Abilities.

How to use Xin's abilities... USE THEM ALL WHENEVER THEY ARE OFF COOLDOWN! Literally all you have to do while playing Xin is E then Q following instantly with W and using R somewhere in between. Don't be stupid though. Be smart about using your R skill.

Runes.

Rune choice... I'm still experimenting with my seals and glyphs, but armor penetration is most definitely the way to go for marks and quintessences. More to come soon.

Other Helpful Information.

Other helpful information. While in game, try and stay in your lane as soon as possibly. Remember, kills are nice gold boosts for you and your team mates, BUT... Giving the enemy a kill that they don't have to work for is not advised. Pay attention to your minimap. Watch the lanes yourself and don't wait for someone to call a late MIA on another lane. Early lane phase, don't worry about harassing your enemy laners... It will come soon enough in time... If you have to play it safe, do it. Xin is most dangerous when he has access to all of his skills. Take your time and wait to strike! Also, if you don't have someone that is jungling... Blue and red buff are your friends! Blue buff giving you an endless supply of mana and reduction is cool downs. While Red slows attacks and damages your target. These are very good to have in team fights.

And then...

Finally... When building Xin early game... RUSH GRIEVES AND BLACK CLEAVER... This is extremely important. When you build The Black Cleaver on Xin Zhao his damage output just about doubles, if not triples. The increased attack speed, armor reduction and attack damage in early game is pretty much game altering. The reduction to armor on already low armor champions on top of your armor penetration runes makes for a delicious meal from any champion!
