Xin Zhao Build
Not Updated For Current Season
This guide will show you a way of playing Xin Zhao that will blow your enemies minds. It's a high damage output build that will make you unstoppable with very little farm. This guide will work best on lane with a support like Taric, Soraka or Sona. You will also be able to start roaming at level 4 if you want to, since you got a good initiation and okey damage output.
These runes is the most optimal for this build because it will enhance your damage output and it will give you a slightly better survivability since the attack speed runes will proc the passive ability faster.
These masteries will give you higher damage output and better mobility, it will also help you in ganks to either survive or escape.
You start of with a dagger and a health potion because it will make your passive proc faster and if you get harassed you don't have to back immediately. If you haven't been forced to go back to base you should go back when you go enough gold to buy the whole Berserker's Greaves, but if you have been forced to go back then you should buy regular boots if you can afford it. When you've farmed/ganked enough to afford a B.F. Sword you should go back immediately to buy it since it will boost your damage output significant. Then you save up to get the whole Black Cleaver or buy the dagger if you're farm is going slow. You will follow up with a Zeal because you want the mobility and attack speed. When you can afford it go for the while Phantom Dancer, if you buy it part by part you should prioritize the dagger in front of Cloak of Agility. Now you want to boost you mobility even more so you can roam and gank better, so buy a Zeal, followed up by a Sheen because it'll boost your Three Talon Strike. Then for for the Phage for the movement slow and then the full Trinity Force. Now you've got good mobility and damage output so let's focus on the survivability, so get a Vampiric Scepter, it will make you survive longer when in a teamfight. The survivability would be high enough now, so go for a B.F. Sword and then the full Infinity Edge. Then buy another B.F. Sword and finish the Bloodthirster.
At level 1 you open up with Three Talon strike since this will be your main damage output ability. At level 2 you take Audacious Charge for the initiation. Level 3 you take another point in Three Talon Strike. Level 4 you want to take Battle Cry because of the attack speed and CD reduction. Level 5 you take another point in Three Talon Strike. Level 6 take a point in your ultimate. Now max your Three Talon Strike, then go for Battle Cry until level 11 and then put another point in your ultimate. Then max Battle Cry. Now you just put point in Audacious Charge until you can max your ultimate, then last max Audacious Charge.
You want these Summoner Spells since it will give you better mobility, roaming and ganking. It will also give you a better chance to get out of a fight where you're the on who's focused. For gank you'll Audacious Charge in, put Exhaust on the target and do your standard skill rotation. If you're the one who's being ganked you should put Exhaust on the target who does the highest damage output and the use ghost to get away as fast as possible.
Pros / Cons
+ High damage output
+ High mobility
+ Good roaming
+ Good survivability
- If focused, harder to survive or get away
- The enemy will focus you with their whine
When farming you should ONLY last hit, if harassed you should only stand behind your ranged creeps and only last hit when the enemy creeps is at your tower.
When initiating you should activate Three Talon Strike and then use Audacious Charge on the one you're focusing, put Exhaust on the target if you thinks it's necessary. When the Three Talon Strikes has been used activate Battle Cry to reduce the CD on Three Talon Strike. And then repeat until your target is dead. If it's a teamfight or a against a champion that got high damage output use your Crescent Sweep.
This is a build for you who likes to play Xin Zhao as a AD carry. If you get the Black Cleaver at early game you'll almost be sure to have high damage output and survivability through the whole game.
