The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Xin Zhao is inherently a good champion. With boosts to attack speed, Attack Damage, Knocks up, Self sustain. Not to mention the ability to single out high priority targets, and the need to get to them. Xin Zhao is easy to pick up and play, and have fun with.
Just remember your not the true carry, your a jungler. Its your job to get off good ganks and prevent your opposition from acquiring kills.
Pretty self explanatory.
Armor pen is a must. Stacking up to 10 with runes and 16 with masteries. Most high priority targets will have no resistances to all of you skills and auto attacks (levels 1-6)
Xin Zhao has a natural attack speed increase so I chose damage over attack speed for the remainder 3 reds. Stacking to 20 armor pen while rushing a Youmuu's Ghoastblade is just a little over-kill.
Armor yellows are a must for jungling.
And last Blues, Magic resist is allways nice.
Phage adds some Hp to you and gets some slow out for even better ganks.
After that Youmuu's will give you insane burst and help conquer Turrets, Dragon, and Baron with ease.
Why Start vamp scepter? Your full Hp after your jungle rout. And as you are level 3 and have Audacious Charge, you don't NEED boots to gank. Especially if you get you Knock up from Three Talon Strike.
Wriggles Lantern is a must for jungling, tankyness, wards and sustain.
Over all its a good well rounded item that helps Xin Zhao out alot.
It also helps out on early dragons.
The Brutalizer is for more damage and faster cooldowns, Mostly there to build into Youmuu's and stack early damage fast.
The Trinity is just for over all stats, Evening out some attack speed, HP, and adding more crit. Its Passive damage output makes your Three Talon Strike a feared skill. It could be argued to build a Frozen Mallet for HP, and a more reliable slow. Personly i prefer the attack speed, move speed, and critical strike chance. Go figure, SYNERGY!
The Zeke's Herald stacks up your Cool-down reduction to 30%, Your Life Steal to 25%, AND adds a little attack speed. Also it shares this buff with your allies, Helping your AD Carry and possibly your top lane. When your stacking stats make sure you do it right. Zeke's adds to all of your main stats AND helps allies. Always a great choice. Go figure, SYNERGY!
Finally a Black Cleaver, This Finishes off your Armor Penetration, Your Attack Speed is almost capped, and a nifty 55 damage... Totaly worth it. Also its passive works well with you Three Talon Strikes Knock up. Go figure, SYNERGY!
Smite is a Must as a jungler.
I find Ghost to get you in and out better than flash. Given you may find yourself in a pinch with out flash some times, But thats your fault for being out of position.
As for Jungle rout? Its simple and clean.
Blue > Blue buff and lvl 2
Wolfs > on the way (can be killed Before blue if your team is cool)
Wraiths> Waiting on Smite cool-down for red? And they heal you!
Red> Red buff (now double buffed) AND lvl 3
GO GANK your level 3 with double buff, a knock-up and a gap closer. your best bet is mid or bot. But if you need to you can go top and hit wolfs for a second time.
E> W> Q> AUTO ATTACK LIKE A BOSS!
MAKE SURE YOU USE YOUR ULT CORRECTLY!
Whoever the last person you attacked was WILL NOT be knocked back.
Use this to your advantage, E to a minion and R him into your turret.
Hit there Carry then ULT! BOOM Instantly there Carry is singled out and your team can burst them down.
You can also use your ult to split enemy teams, make a hasty escape.
