Xin Zhao is a damage champion pure and simple, if he is fed and built right he can be a devastating carry. This build taps into Xin Zhao's most powerful assets attack speed and life steal. Building him this way allows him to go into team fights pick their strongest carry and completely neutralize them, and when all the carries are taken care of if there are any tanks left there is no way they are getting away. The build may seem that it leaves him vulnerable to CC or to be burned very easily, but this is something that a Xin Zhao must be used to because the other team will be trying to focus you to take you down as you pose the biggest threat to them, unless their is a stronger champion on your team. All of the life steal in this build added with your passive and attack speed allow you to easily 1v1 champions who aren't prepared for an attack, which makes Xin Zhao a scary assassin.

Since Xin doesnt have great escape tactics besides speed, Ghost is a great summoner spell to use as it provides a great boost in speed to get away or chase down your enemies. Exhaust to set up early game ganks in your lanes or others, and the 70% damage reduction never hurts in a 1v1 situation.

Even though Xin can be a great carry he relies on his team mates just as much as they rely on him. He relies on them to set up ganks and on MIAs to make sure he isnt counter ganked. yes some of this does fall on your shoulders but your team should not rely on you to save them everytime. If they want someone in their lane ganked they have to work with you. if you set up correctly there is no escaping. Xin works great with other strong DPS/Tank champions who have at least 1 form of CC to help set up his fearsome combo. It helps harass early game and helps gank easily.
