....Fort pot starting item. DiscoGrind is correct in thinking that you are trolling. When I first saw this guide it made me cry. But alas I will not command myself to crushing the hopes of the new generation of Xin players. First off lose the fort pot, start off with a boot. You may say that the fort pot gives way better stats and is cheaper, but remember after those 4 minutes are up you become useless. Your health potions become wasted, because you are basically trying to defend a turret with huge health regen but no starting item. A doran's item would be way better. It gives almost the same stats, but doesn't expire in 4 minutes. Also seals are better for attack speed compared to glyphs. Look at this guide to help your rune selection Searz rune guideI feel like you should have bought armor seals, and magic res seals, but some people like going offensive. That is all for now. I'll check up on this guide later to see if you made any improvements and then I'll cast my vote.

I respect that you have this opinion about Xin Zhao, but I do not enjoy playing him as a jungler and thought it would be a good addition to the MOBAFIRE community to share what I feel is a solid alternative.

P.S. I NEVER troll and I think the boots are important for getting to a teamfight as fast as possible. I have save many a turret and teammate because of these boots.

I wish you had tried this build before downvoting. Why would you say something doesn't work when you haven't even tried it?

Xin zhao is a jungler-offtank, how u can enter in the combat and survive with this build?

Boots of mobility is for trolling?

In my one game with this build this morning (I had to use Fizz masteries) this worked perfectly right out of the gate. My solo-mid kept dying and I was able to step in and hold both top and mid back and forth because I was able to kill/run off the solo champs there.

Lots of burst and the enemies just run. I have to work on the initiation pattern you discuss, because I kept messing it up and getting focused down.

Have you tried Regrowth Pendant as a first item?

It performs the same function as the Health Potions and builds into philosopher's stone, which will keep you in lane while propelling you towards your expensive items!

I think this is a pretty good guide, although i would explai some more why u choose this items and i would shorten the number of items you have in your cheat sheet (no dagger before zeal).
