Welcome to my first guide for Zed. Hope you all enjoy the guide and use my builds for your games ! I have over +400 games with Zed so trust me on everything i will say about him.

Zed is a high skill cap champion that takes time and practice to master. If you don't know positioning you need to learn it. If you don't know focus, you need to learn it. Zed is all about positioning to ulti in and burst down high priority champions on the enemy team (i.e. Ezreal, Graves, Morgana).

Learn these things and you will truly master the shadows. Of course I will be here to help you along the ways.

Best runes for zed is Seals for armor / Marks of armor penetration / Glyphs of magic resist per lvl / and Greater Quints of attack damage.

Your going mid which means you will be against a squishy target, whether it is and AD assassin or an AP caster. Your job in team fights is also to burst down the squishy targets, such as the enemy assassin, mage, or ADC. This will weaken the little amount of armor they have and cause your burst to be much higher.

My masteries for zed !

You start always with dorans shield . It gives you health , health regen and strong sustain. Otherwise you could start with long sword and 3 pots so when you go b you could pick the cutlass at once ! then you take brutalizer for your cooldowns and armor pen. You finallize your Botrk (core item for zed) and then you got either for last whisper or Black cleaver. It's your choise. (You need both items). After these items you gonna need one hexdrinker for sure. After all these a Guardian Angel would be the best choise for zed.

I mostly use mercurial treads for the tenacity and high cc against me

You better enhance your shuriken (Q) .

It deals more dmg when your death mark (ultimate) is open !

Flash / Ignite the best spells for zed.

He is the best champion on farming his Q and E (also and his passive) are the best for ccsing and poke the opponent
