Hello & welcome to my GangPlank guide. In this guide i will tell you how I play GangPlank. This is my first guide, so i hope you like it :-)

Ive been playing League of legends for almost 2 years now, and ive been playing Gangplank mostly. He can be played in so many ways, fun and bad ways ofcouse. I think its sad when people dont exsperiment with random builds, see how they work in different games. I never play 2 games in a row with the same type of build. Anyways, i will be showing you how I play Gangplank :-)

I have choosed to set 9 Strength runes in marks becouse its a flat dmg, and works great in early game with farming, and some early harras. Gangplank is a great farmer early on and all the way to the end. The extra dmg from runes and 1 point in E early on, really makes you dominate early on your lane. What you choose to play early game is up to you. Depends really on who you are laning against. I have choosed to put 9 health per.level in yellows becouse after the masteries patch it works great when you put 9 points in durability in 21/9/0 build. See masteries! Gives you a stable amount of health trough the game. If you are laning against something like Renekton, Talon, Nidalee, and so on, you might think of putting in flat armor runes. 9 cooldown runes is always great! Spam more Q to farm, or push down the one you are laning against. 4 points in offence to get 4% more in cooldown, works so good on Gangplank. Movement runes is good on Gangplank aswell in the big runes. But i like to focus on slowing the enemy and keep them on me, so the team can stay on em. But suit yourself and put on movement runes if you like, works great aswell ^^
I like to give it a little extra to cooldown, AD, and HP per.level.

The masteries i have choosed works great with Gangplank. I like to harras really early on, witch mostly results in first blood, or forceing your enemy to recall early, and lose alot of exp and cs. Abit of armor in defence, and hp per lvl works great with the runes.
You can always build him as a much harder tank, focus on 0/21/9. Gangplank works really great in late game, and imo is strongest in late game. But yet agian, this is my way to play Gangplank :-)

This item list is mainly what i focus to build almost every game. But, i always change it how the game turns out. Such if your team gets raped hard early on. Focus on farm, to carry your team through the mid game and so on. And in that case, if you meet hard CC you focus on SilverSash and banshee viel. And remember you can always build other stuff, insteed of frozen malet, you can try and run warmongs early on. Works so great on him aswell. Always try other stuff, see what works together. Buying boots early with 3 pots, and your 1 point in E first, makes you dominate really hard. A couble of hits first to slow him down, and then E, always results in a first blood, or force to use escape spells, such as flash and so on. Fast Phage is good with the slow, AD, and extra hp. All that Gangplank basicly everything he needs. Atma's adds even more AD with your hp per lvl and your phage. So works great together!

Teleport is so good on Gangplank, becouse he can fast assist your team when drake fight, or someone getting ganked at your bot lane. Hes ultimate in great with teleport, becouse he can basicly push a lane without even being on the lane. Since they nerfed flash i dont find it very good anymore. On some champs i still find it a must to have for escape tool. But Gangplank is awesome and eats hes CC from him :-)
And exaust just works great becouse when you catch one from the other team, and puts exaust on em, they are pretty much done. Cleanse is good aswell if they have so much CC. But take what you feel like, this is the way i like it the most!
