Introduction
Most people think Yasuo is an underskilled champion. In some aspects, this is true. In others, it requires mastery to time his Last Breath right or to land his Steel Tempest on the 3rd stack.
Hope this guide informs you on what to and what not to do as Yasuo. ENJOY!!
Runes
My runes for Yasuo. You could also go with Greater Seal of Armor if you're against an AD mid, or Greater Seal of Scaling Magic Resist for more late game magic resist, or even greater mark of armor penetration in place of Greater Seal of Attack Damage for more late game damage.
You could also start Steel Tempest in place of Sweeping Blade if not against skillshot reliant champion like Xerath or Lux.
EARLY GAME
____________________________________________
Early game determines how well you do for the rest of the game. Yasuo is not to be underestimated at all, but his early game is a little weaker than most other mid laners. It's all about the farming and occasional harass. Sweeping Blade is a crucial start against skillshot reliant champions, it gives you the mobility to dodge the early poke and safely farm knowing said skillshot is on cooldown. Getting Steel Tempest allows for harass and extra auto attack damage to get that last minion you just need to get. Poke with the tip of your Steel Tempest whenever you see an opportunity.
MID GAME
____________________________________________
At this point, you should have gained your power spike, which is Statikk Shiv. It is Yasuo's bread and butter because it releases the chain lighting that damages up to 4 nearby enemies. What makes it even better on Yasuo is the fact that the bonus damage can critically strike, allowing for even stronger poke and an upper hand in duels. Acquiring Infinity Edge will bring Yasuo to his full potential, as far as crits go. The 50% increase in critical strike damage will allow better crits due to the Intent component of his passive Way of the Wanderer, which decreases his crit damage by 10%.
