Although if you think about it, there are still 3 damage items on him, with the possibility of a 4th (lifesteal options don't seem to be as necessary on him). You might see a BOTRK on top of his 3-item core or a Bloodthirster if he's snowballing hard, but general builds will include a Sunfire Aegis or Randuin's Omen instead (although I think ZionSpartan favours Spirit Visage for CDR). Guardian Angel is almost always taken when possible.

Yasuo doesn't need hp. Because hp isn't important. It's not like it keeps you alive or anything. Lolz.

And it doesn't matter, all champion can use hp, which means the gold is still effective, which means you still put it into the calculations. Like, my parents might not have taught me to be polite, but they sure as hell taught me how to do basic maths at least. #AznParenting

But yeah, Yasuo is a trash support anyway, so if you don't play him support, you don't have to build Sightstone and you don't encounter this problem. If you do play him support, you should at least play support right, which unfortunately means taking Sightstone and supplying your team with vision which it otherwise wouldn't have.

Also, you're wrong about Yasuo not needing hp. Most pro players that have been using Yasuo (properly) have built him Bruiser DPS. Statikk Shiv -> Boots -> Infinity Edge as core rush items. Then they build him full tanky except with maybe a Last Whisper.

One more thing, SKT T1 K (number 1 team in the world) recently won a game against Samsung Galaxy Blue (no pushover team either) with 4 Sweeping Lenses whilst Blue only had 1 Sweeping Lens and the commentators were constantly talking about how Blue should have gotten 2 more Sweeping Lenses. Blue instantly lost all the vision control they had against SKT in seconds because of the Sweeping Lenses. And yes, Blue was using pink wards as well and the only Sweeping Lens that they did have was on the JUNGLER ( Lee Sin support can work better with warding trinket, but not having Sweeping Lens was one of the main reasons they lost, so I can't say it worked out well for them).
