Introduction

This is just a test guide I made.

I will be showing you how to play Anivia. Anivia has a sort of high skill cap, but deals tons of burst damage.

Guide Top

Runes

I usually take magic penetration runes mainly for the early game. In late game it does help, but your void staff does well.

I take mana regen/level seals. Flat mana regen seals also work nicely.

I take ability power/level glyphs. These are just to help me scale into late game

Finally, I take flat ability power quintessences for early game damage.

Masteries

I go 21/0/9 taking all the offensive magic damage.

In defense I take meditation to help Anivia'a mana issues.

Items

Rod of Ages, Rabadons Deathcap, and Athene's Unholy Grail are my core items.

Rod of Ages gives you some nice damage with health and mana.

Rabadons Deathcap is just a Really Strong item for AP casters.

Athene's Unholy Grail Help Anivia with her mana issues.

In most games, I take Sorcerer Shoes, Zhonya's Hourglass, and Void Staff

If the enemy team has loads of heavy cc, I replace Sorcerer Shoes with Mercury's Treads.

If the enemy team is AP heavy, I replace Zhonya's Hourglass with Abyssal Scepter.

If the enemy is dumb enough to not build magic resist, I trade in Void Staff for Will of the Ancients.

Skill Sequence

I focus leveling up my E as it is my most reliable damage source.

Q is right after E for the damage.

W is last for obvious reasons.

Lastly, I rank up my ult whenever I can.

Guide Top

Summoner Spells

I take flash and ignite.

Flash can be used to secure a kill or to escape a sticky situation.

Ignite adds a bit of extra damage, and reduces healing.

Summary

Anivia is stronk. Although you don't see her too much in high ELO ranked play, she has some great burst.
