There are a few things I would like to say about Master Yi before I even go into this build. He is NOT a 1 button click faceroll champion. Though he can be played that way by noobs. I agree, he is an easy to play champ, but that doesn't mean that a skilled player cant turn him into a rape machine. This is my first build and it has given me a lot of success, so dont go bashing it left and right if your play style is slightly different. Also note that I am assuming you already know how to play as Yi and wont go into all the nonsense on "HOW TO FARM WITH YI" and "HOW TO USE YI'S ABILITIES TO THEIR BEST USE". I also assume you are lvl 30 or so and know how to play the game past 'dont walk into turrets at lvl 2.' Its just a few suggestions taken from my play style.

%99.999 Of the time I will start with boots and pots. Its just great for chasing down and the 3 pots are great to have to keep you in lane longer. After the bottom fight, start farming like a mofo top lane and harass as much as possible. with the boots its a lot easier to Alpha and run, but there is something that you need to do to do much damage at all. Use Yi's passive to get him to a 7th hit EVERY TIME before you use Alpha Strike so that you get the strike damage plus 2 hits and possibly a 3rd before running back to the minions. It may be a given to most, but if you're not doing this, ya aint playin yi at all. After getting a kill or two (which you probably will) or farming enough, go back and buy wriggles lantern. Of course you put the ward at red buff. It just makes sense... and after you get it, if you've pushed your minions to the turret or close to it, go get the top jungle while the enmy pushes back to your turret. Then go down and 'Solo Gank' top. Then you can probably go grab a kill or two from bot and push a turret. I then get BT next for, ofc, lifesteal and AD. Next comes the PD and move on from there to a second BT or a Last whisper if the enemy is stacking armor. I have left out a lot in this build because I assume you already know it. Runes pretty much explain themselves. I know most people use 21/0/9 for masteries, but I use it the other way around for the cdr and all that good stuff. Now here comes the controversial part... HEAL!!! NOOB OMFG NOOB WITH HEAL UNINSTALL THIS GAME PLZ NOOB!!! I use heal because its just useful and annoying as hell to the other team. I don't use it often, but when I do, (I prefer Dos Equis) it is really useful. I almost always use Flash, but Ghost is cool too.
