Wuju Style ain't nothing to f**k with.

Everyone knows that Sated Devourer is broken on Yi. Throw in Guinsoo, some stacks of Fervor, a pinch of attack speed, and you've got yourself the most notorious assassin since Lee Harvey Oswald.

This build's philosophy is simple:
1) Get sated.
2) Get stacked.
3) Wipe the floor with your enemies.

Yi is not a complicated champ, so this guide won't be too in-depth. I like to think that anyone with a functioning brain and 2 hands can succeed with this build. Unfortunately, the average team has no fewer than 3 extra chromosomes, so some of you may struggle.

Jungling

Clears

-Start with Gromp. Get a leash. Smite.
-Then take Blue (you're gonna need the mana).
-Next do Rift Scuttler. While you're in the neighborhood check if top is ripe for a gank.
-Now go Red. Smite. See if mid or bot can use your services.

Back

-Boulders, birds, wolves.
-Do dragon at level 5 or 6. Don't worry if you don't have devourer yet.

Ganking

You are fast. You do lots of damage. You will get kills.

Here are some tips & tricks:
Q in, Flash out. Or vice versa. This works under turrets, and in fights if you're low on health and need to do some damage and make a getaway.
Your W is a versatile tool. Use it in a 1v1 to burn the cooldown clock off your other abilities. Use it to tank damage while a teammate comes to the rescue. Bait an enemy to turret dive and then laugh as you heal up.
If there are no champs in range, auto-attack a minion or turret to reduce the cooldown on your Alpha Strike.
Chilling smite has an extremely useful slow. Always smite when you gank.

Gank early if you can. Don't be afraid to be aggressive. I almost always gank top at level 2. Even if you don't get first blood, you'll likely get their flash and put your teammate in a good position to farm.

You're gonna hit a rough patch around minute 16 where you won't be of much use to your team. This is partly why it's so important to exert an influence on the game with early ganks. Unless you're fed at this point, you won't be doing enough damage to mitigate your squishiness, and you will die in team fights. Use this time to sate your devourer. Stay in the jungle. Go for scuttlers whenever you can.

Team Work

Pick off wounded targets. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Hard CC is the enemy. Play smart, don't get caught.

If you notice that you're struggling in fights, offer to splitpush. Yi has great waveclear, and can kill a turret in a heartbeat.

If things went well, around minute 30 you should be closing in on a full build. Enjoy your pentakills.

And remember, there can be only one Highlander.
