Just went 14-4-13 on my first game!
Love Yorrick defiantly worth my RP not just for the champ but the bad-*** skin. ;)
I went merc treads over the berserker's greaves as I love a bit of extra tankiness. Props for the guide +1

awesome build. a complete 180 from what i have been playing. I've finished all games with this build halfway through completion because it's so effective.

but you can't up an ability twice in a row...level 9 is the lowest you can have a max +

However without Manamune I lose about 80 AD. So I would have to change all of my build. 80 AD end game and lots of mana for spamming hardly seems like a waste for the cost. What would you suggest?

Math: 2% of 3000+ mana = 60 AD + 20 AD already present = 80AD and no need to steal blue buff

This is exactly what makes Manamune an amazing item. I think people seem to forget that it gives the bonus AD scaled off your total mana which, as you just noted, is nothing to sneeze at by the time it caps out. Sure, you could swap it out, but if you don't have all ghouls out constantly you're missing out on up to 20% bonus damage/damage reduction from his passive.
I run with a slightly tweaked version of this build (I swapped Trinity for Bloodthirster, I love me some extra lifesteal) and by late game I find I can burn down almost any other champion without breaking a sweat, which I credit with the constant uptime on my ghouls.

I like this build but I feel as if Post buff Yorick does not need manamune. It's a waste of 1750 quite frankly :/ Plus without a mastery point in magic pen. you lose a possible 15% damage output from spawning your W and E and their damage output is magic. that 15% boost would be a deal breaker for last hits. It also feels like this build is still pre-buff oriented :/ you should go back and re-work everything based on his new and very respectable stats. I hope that helps

Yeah I have been playing around with jungling him and I have been busy making Leona work heh. I will definitely look at the build soon. I may change it up. One thing I noticed that makes a huge difference is getting boots of swiftness when I jungle. So good for catching up to slow people or running away and the berserker greaves don't really seem to make that much difference. I'll switch up the masteries and try it out you are definitely correct in the magic dmg area. I may rework this guide we will see. However without Manamune I lose about 80 AD. So I would have to change all of my build. 80 AD end game and lots of mana for spamming hardly seems like a waste for the cost. What would you suggest?

You dont need Manamune but you need a great deal of Mana/Manareg + Cdr.
Without being able to spam your ghouls (even more after the patch) you wont be able to keep up with other dps champs.

Edit:
@BurtThaMan
Try playing Tryn, get I.E. + Phantom + 4 Bloodthirster. Great dps, but... you get the rest.

boots dont stack, only one pair of boots can be in effect at a time

I know they don't stack. It was saying later on in game you can trade out berserker for merc tread that's all.

Thank you. I definitely don't think my guide is the best Yorick guide ever made nor am I convinced it's even viable in a ranked game situation. However my intent was to try to be the best dps build Yorick guide available. And to help people understand Yorick and how his mechanics work.
