Nice guide!

I have been trying Yorick for 2 days (not much since European servers are most of the time down or with queues...) and at start I was pretty disappointed. The dmg at low levels is ridiculous and he has no survailability at all so its pretty usless for laning and killing at start. Once realized this, I thought why not try it with jungle? might lvl up fine and get the element of surprise to gank a little at lvl 4-6.

I just come from my first game as jungler, following this guide, and it worked really well. I actually sucked with the jungling (first time on this char, and not really used to jungle with any char) but my team was good so they held towers nicely.

I discovered that the true potential of this char is at late game, where he can do nice damage and has a decent survaibility. With a good team, slow + speed bonus will help you and your team to catch all the low hp runners and hopefully get some kills.


I'd like to expose my experiences following this guide:

Really mana-dependant char, so the Tear is a must, plus its the way for Manamune.
Manamune really makes the difference. Once you have this item, you are in the game.
After the Belt, I'd try getting the BF Sword, and afterwards, the Sunfire. You already have the extra survailabilty from the Belt and you'll thank the +45dmg from the sword since you and your ghouls benefit from it.
Didn't get past this item but I would really like to try the Youmuu's on this char.
About the Bloodthirster, I'm yet not sure about how usefull is lifeleach on this char. I guess you get it for the 60+40 dmg, but I might swap this item for Infinity edge.
Never been a fan of Frozen Mallet, tho it is usefull for the added slow.

Resuming, I loved this guide/build but I'm gonna try swaping a few items, might get Bloodthirster and change Mallet for the Edge. You get more base dmg, crit dmg and change. I think about this cuz im also trying crit chance runes (plus attack speed, and life quints).

The boots are still on the air. You get a nice speed buff from ghouls so it might be better to try a +2 boots with extra stats. Regarding this, I also tryed a 9/0/21 mastery tree. War Omen was barely above 3 sec and with CDR boots it might get under 3s. The ability to spam Omen really helps. For example when u face an Akali, you send a first wave of ghouls, get her 50% and she might think "that's all, you're now mine" but right away you send your Omen again while you are still getting lifesteal and there is where she starts running. Hopefully your Pestilence's CD is done and u can slow her avoiding her scape and granting yourself a kill.

Im gonna keep trying this char for the next days and might even write down a guide, who knows!

not only are you jungling with an elixir (which i'm not 100% against anyway,) you are jungling with smite AND ignite (disgusting.)

my friend... i have jungled Yorick with a doran's blade and ghost/smite to level 6 in 6:50. you don't see me making a guide do you? why not? because Yorick is a liability in the jungle. He will crumple under any attention from the enemy team. derp derp.

Yeah, right if u have a stun on your lane you are ganking there is a probability to not get a kill. But remember to PICK your targets starting from those who are squishy and dont have escape mecanisms.

I cannot wait to try this build. This is the first build I have come across that is a completely new take on Yorick (compared to my experiments, at least). I will vote later once I have had a chance to test it out. Thanks for the inspiration.

and yes i tried jungle yorick and in my opinion its not good because he lacks the chasing ability if he doesnt hit his q.
