It is expensive, but I had no problem getting up to a B. F. Sword in game. Yorick is able to farm rather well and that's where a lot of the gold comes from. The dodge from Ninja Tabi is acceptable, putting you at about 14% dodge. The the armor it gives you was one of the reasons I was taking it. Although, I could rework the build to have cloth armor bought for a eventual upgrade into a GA and have merc treads or beserker greaves thrown in there for the boots. The Warmogs and Atma combo will pretty much work on anyone and I will incorporate them if need be. Thanks for your insight lonewolf. I'll keep messing around with him to find out what works best.

This build is grossly expensive, you could never farm enough or steal enough kills to get all these costly items.

Ninja tabi on an AD/AS champ? Uh no, not unless youre going to get dodge runes, you'd be better off with berserker greaves.

Manamune is ok, 'cuz his mana pool is horribly small and he can benefit from the AD on it.

I'd definately get a trinity force in there for burst on his Q since he has no burst without it and he has to get that hit in to spawn his spectre. I'd get a warmogs and an atma's impaler, and maybe take a zeal and turn it into a phantom dancer.

The key to surviving with this guy is get in get a few hits from your abilities and get out, he's your atypical AD melee champ thats going to get reamed being in a teamfight so you need to HP and regen from warmogs to survive.

Thanks for the input jhoijhoi. I'll try to make some changes when I get back from work today. Like I said, I've been thinking about dropping Ignite for either Ghost or Flash, either of which would be of greater assistance to him.

Great guide for what I hear is a terrible champion. I learnt a lot from reading this, and it has prepared me for how underwhelming Yorick seems to be.

At the same time, you've described a lot of scenarios where he will shine, so I'm still going to be cautious around this guy.

Something about how far his ghosts can go would be nice (are they like Tibbers, and thus teleport back to their owner?).

Some criticism:

1) You take Ignite and Exhaust which leaves you with no escape.
2) Your Purchase order is a bit too detailed. Should be: Doran's Blade Tear of the Goddess Boots Manamune Ninja Tabi Phage Spirit Visage Trinity Force Black Cleaver Guardian Angel
3) Please don't have more than 6 finished items in the build... Unless you fully intend on selling the Manamune for GA.
4) Your skill sequencing is all over the place. Generally you will want to show one of two things:
a) leveling up one move, then the other, then the last
or
b) leveling up two moves simultaneously, then leaving the third to last
You don't want your ability sequence all over the place like that :/

Other than that, great guide, very well written and humorous.

^^

I can't vote at the moment, so make sure to PM me in about a week's time for a +1
