This is my first solo top guide so please dont troll vote.
This guide will focus on Yorick as a tank/offtank.
People say that Yorick is a troll champion (worthless) but you know what? He is NOT.
Yorick is one of the best solo top champions if you can play him.

Lets get started!

We go 0/9/21 becouse or armor, magic recistance, hp/mana regen.
Also alot of mana regen and cdr this will help you alot in early game!
Taking flash is a no brainer. Great escape/gap closer. Can be used in a variety of ways on Yorick.
Exhaust is sooo good. All game this will make players hate you. It can be used for slowing purposes, or nerfing a enemy's damage output. Good if your jungler is going for a gank.
A very nice spell when you are solo top, save a tower, get minions, ward gank.
This can work, but flash is still better
Can be good with your combo, but nah.

Worthless trash, you got your ulti
Philosopher's stone Health/Mana regen and gives you 5 gold every 10 seconds.
If there is a lot of cc in the ennemy team you should think about those boots. I always get those for Yorick.
You must have this, Yorick is mana hungry and when you get this item upgrade it to the enemy will have no chance.
Attack speed, attack damage, a sheen, mana/health and a slow? Wow thats all you need!
Lots of health you need this item! Without a warmogs you not a offtank and you will be squishy!
You have to buy this item after warmog's you MUST. It gives you 18% crit and 45 armor and converts 2% of your current health to attack damage.
(lategame) Sell your Philostopher's stone and buy this if the enemy team got feeded casters.
(lategame) Sell your Philostopher's stone and buy this for armor and a extra life!
Or you could upgrade your Philosopher's stone to this, nice cc, really nice item
This is great for an AD build. Our ghouls deal 35% of our AD and we now take 5% less dmg and do 5% more dmg (autoattack only) per active Ghoul. That means up to 4 ghouls later on in game (yes your ulti Omen of Death counts) for 20% less damage taken and 20% more dmg done.
Yorick's next attack will deal bonus physical damage and summon a Spectral Ghoul that deals additional damage and moves faster than Yorick's other ghouls.
While the Spectral Ghoul is alive, Yorick moves faster as well.
Yorick summons a Decaying Ghoul that arrives with a violent explosion, dealing damage and slowing nearby enemies. While the Decaying Ghoul remains alive, nearby enemies continue to be slowed.
Yorick steals life from his target and summons a revenous Ghoul that heals Yorick for the damage it deals.
Yorick conjures a revenant in the image of one of his allies. If his ally dies while its revenant is alive, the revenant sacrifices itself to reanimate them and give them time to enact vengeance.
Remember that his Omen of Pestilence can be used to block skill shots, check in bushes for hiding enemy, dropped over a wall to slow a running enemy that you can't see, slow attackers from chasing you or save an ally.
This is where you and your team should sight ward Sight Ward.
Yellow: Vital to protect the jungler on your team
Blue: For protection depending on which lane you're on
Red: To guard Dragon and Baron
Orange: In order to Counter-Jungle
Generally speaking this goes: Get in range W (longest cooldown) for slow, E for heal and extra dmg, and hit Q all while running toward them. Every combo should basically consist of you charging at them. The W will make them slow enough you can catch them with Q doing a good amount of dmg and speeding you up for a hasty retreat (sort of a high risk poke). Remember that you will have 3 ghouls doing small amounts of dmg to them as well if you pull this combo off.
If you plan on using your ulti. I suggest the following: W, E, Q, hit them, R then rinse and repeat.
Remember when running W slows them and if you get good at kiting you can hit them with E heal ghoul as well and just keep running. Hit a mob with Q if you can to get extra run speed. If it seems like you are going to die... just turn around, pop your ulti on yourself and bring them to hell with you.
W then E or just E are great for lane harassing however its best not to spam them too much early on as you WILL run out of mana. Be smart.
This was my first Yorick guide/build so dont expect a 20/0/10.
