Yorick is the newest champion in the league. He summons ghouls which attack the nearest enemy/champion. With this guide I will show you how to build and play him the best way.
Pros / Cons
-Most of the other guides suffer with mana problems in earlygame. Thanks to Manamune you won't have em!

Yorick has to be tanky in order to be successful, but he also should deal damage. The only way to achieve this is a 9/21/0 build.
With the additional health, mr and armor from the defensive tree you can stay so much longer in lane and still can harass the enemy thanks to 15% mp and AP per level.
This part is very tricky. You want do to quite some damage but there's one problem: Your is physical damage and your and are magical. But you also want to do some close combat fights mid/lategame.
It's your oppinion whether you choose Mpen or Arpen but my personal favorite is Arpen.
Yorick is reeeeally mana hungry early game. And since you can't do any damage without mana you MUST build Manamune. It's scales so great with Yoricks abilities. Plus, you got almost 40% CDR with this build what allows you to constantly spam your ghouls and deal tons of damage.

is a must. You can blink over walls , escape from ganks or follow a fleeing enemy.
Second one is pretty your favor. is always a good thing to have against champions like Warwick or Vladimir( well Vlad won't be seen for a while )

Unholy Covenant (Passive)
Yorick’s attacks deal more damage for each summon that is active. Meanwhile, Yorick’s ghouls deal some percent of Yorick’s Attack Damage and have some percent of his total health.
-The damage you gain from it isn't the best yeah, but there are worse ones.
Omen of War
Yorick’s next attack will deal bonus physical damage and summon a Spectral Ghoul that deals additional damage and moves faster than Yorick’s other ghouls. While the Spectral Ghoul is alive, Yorick moves faster as well.
-A good chase skill or to flee a gank.
Omen of Pestilence
Yorick summons a Decaying Ghoul that arrives with a violent explosion, dealing damage and slowing nearby enemies. While the Decaying Ghoul remains alive, nearby enemies continue to be slowed.
-This is one of your main spells early game. You can initate with it's AoE slow and deal quite some damage
Omen of Famine
Yorick steals life from his target and summons a Ravenous Ghoul that heals Yorick for the damage it deals.
-An awesome way to heal yourself up even if you don't fight. One of his best skills.
Omen of Death (Ultimate)
Yorick conjures a revenant in the image of one of his allies. If his ally dies while its revenant is alive, the revenant sacrifices itself to reanimate them and give them time to enact vengeance.
-This is what separates good Yorick players and bad ones. You have to find the perfect timing else it will be completely fail and your teammates trust will be lost.
Practice in custom or AI games.
Max and first as you won't , you mustn't, get in close combat early game. His got awesome range to harass and slow them for incoming gank.
By level 4 you should put 1 point into for additional movement speed for chasing.
The best thing about Yorick is probably his ultimate. If you know your carry gets focused first, don't shy away of putting it at 65% life or higher (best for squishy champs like ashe)
Try to send your minion away so it won't get targeted (you can move it with ctrl+rightclick)
Also his W spell is a great way to stop enemys from getting away.
