Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hello, my name is Raginski, I'm here today to make a guide about Shaco. I play Shaco for a few months and I have studied a lot about him and managed to put together a build for AP Shaco act of maximizing the most of all your skills, including the Deceive.
Also, try to show, the difficulties of making a AP Shaco and how circumvents them.
First step, go to the Runes.
For marks I strongly recommend the use of spell penetration, because both normal games and in ranked games, the Summoners invest in defenses, so to bypass the defense any better than Runes of Magic Penetration, Allied also magic penetration boots.
As we are investing in AP, nothing better than (for glyphs) Glyph of Scaling Ability Power.
You can even replace the Glyph of Scaling Ability Power by Glyph of Scaling Cooldown Reduction, but I do not recommend because it is better to buy CDR in matches
For seals, I chose the Seal of Scaling Health.
Let's say it is not good to buy seals that give Bonus Armor and Magic Resistance, for the simple fact that if you invest in armor and pick a team full of AP users, their seals were useless, the reverse is also true.
Finally, let the quintessences.
The best quintessence to users of AP Damage is Quint of Scaling Ability Power (AP say damage because there are users of AP with different functions, as supports or the unique Vladimir, which uses AP for "survivability")
For masteries, I recommend the basic AP damage
CDR, AP, SP, and Health and a bit of Magic Resist and Armor
At the beginning of the game, put several Jack in The Box, in the enemy's bushes
When the Build is Full, the basic rotation to nearby targets will be W (in the bushes, if you need to escape)> E (to use Lich Bane)> AA> Q> AA
Targets to be distant rotation W (in the bushes, if you need to escape)> Q> AA> E (to use Lich Bane)> AA
In both cases you will repeat the sequence and if there is a situation that the target stay to fight use W, behind him, to prevent escapes or behind you, so you can escape.
In several forums and discussions about AP Shaco, the following sentence is common, "AP Shaco has no function in Team Fights". The big reality is that this is a lie. Ap Shaco does have several functions, plus the ability to kill Squishys (ADC and MIDS) with a small combo, you can also start the TF.
WHAT? START TF? ARE YOU CRAZY?
Yes, start the team fight is one of the skills of AP Shaco.
You start the team fight with his clone, and is identical to you (CLONE), he will give a good damage to enemy targets at die, thus facilitating the onset of TF. Another function is to prevent leaks, your E because of Slow natural, plus the Rylai's slow.
The difficulties encountered by AP Shaco is the use of the Jack in the Box, the main damage at level 1. With enemies somewhat careless you can get to the First Blood Double Kill and early in the match, with 4 Jack in the Box in the bush of the enemy. However, if the enemy is careful, he will not enter the woods, ending the possibility of your first kill or double kill, unless you are with a Blitzcrank on your team.
I hope you enjoyed my guide, I am aware that I am not the best AP Shaco game, but I have enough experience to introduce them to the basics of AP Shaco. Thus, comment, give your opinion and to post improvements to my Guide. GG for you.
