Welcome soon to be Nasus Mains. This build will help you understand the aspects to playing Nasus in the Top Lane. 1 important aspect to Nasus is that his main damage will be his q stacking. 'If Siphoning Strike kills its target, Nasus permanently gains 3 stacks (doubled to 6 if the victim is a champion, large minion, or large monster)' This means that you can massively increase the damage that your q ability does. More information on this will be on the Farming tab.

When you are farming with Nasus, always last hit with your q ability. This is most useful early game to start stacking your q stacks. With the new season 7 jungle, this can be used against the Kruggs as they split up into more pieces, so if your jungle isn't farming with those take them.

When laning against an opponent as Nasus, play aggressive. Do not let your opponent deny your minions. You will need the gold and the stacks. Do not underestimate your life steal, do not be afraid of taking damage, with the lifesteal runes, masteries, Nasus' passive and items you will have massive lifesteal. This also synergises with your q because throughout the game it will do more damage and you will be able to harvest more health.

Your main combo will be. W - E - Q. This will slow down the enemy (so you can stop them from running away). Damage them with your E and more importantly, reduce their armour with your E, and hit your Q also stealing some hp from the damage done.

One big weakness for Nasus is the opposing jungle. Always, and I mean always keep a ward on your jungle ganks. People die way too many times because of a jungle gank right after a tower dive or a kill. This is only an exception when there are minions in lane to lifesteal off.
