My favourite champions in the past were Amumu, Maokai, Mordekaiser and tanks generally but since the day riot created nocture I changed my mind about melee DPS(damage per second) players since then has been nerfed twice but he is still my favourite. The whole concept around his name, his story in the fields of justice and his greed for ingame kills have blown my mind so i decided to show you how i built him. In the following guide i will provide information for both jungling and laning.

Although it is known that rune pages must be consisted of a single kind of rune in each category i prefer having this blend because this variety of runes plus item sequence will provide the maximum stat rates.

Warning
There are cases where you will have to face AP(ability power) champions who are overfed or teams with more tanks than damagers in the first case I suggest you spam Shroud of Darkness and if enemies still cause you a lot of damage buy a banshee's vaile , on the second chance buy a Madred's Bloodrazor instead of The Brutalizer

Now as for the sequence of items, after you finisfh the six first recipes Wriggle's Lantern Berserker's Greaves The Brutalizer Infinity Edge Phantom Dancer and Guardian Angel sell Wriggle's Lantern and buy a Bloodthirster then sell your berseker's greaves and buy a second Phantom Dancer

Pros

1. Using Paranoia at a critical moment is well worth it even if you cannot use the dash.
2. Duskbringer isn't only an offensive ability, it can be used to close distance out of combat or escape from certain death.
3. Use Shroud of Darkness combined with Paranoia so that your opponents panic and waste their ulties or stunning spells on your spell shield.
4. He deals great early and late game damage

Cons

1. You will be usually ganked especialy when you are farming because you are an easy target that's why i chose ghost for this player
2. Your HP sucks so as far as you are in the middle of the team fights you will be swearing the moment you dicided to get in there

Farming :

Nocture is one of the sweetest farmers bacause of Duskbringer and Umbra Blades. All minions are for you with your previous abillities you can have all the creeps as far as you have some lifesteal

Jugling :

In this case you will have to pick Smite and adjust the masteries (instead of cripple give one point to plentiful bounty or just start your trip from a later level beacause creeps are too powerfull for you. In case you start from level 1 I suggest the following route :
1st kill the wolves
2nd kill the wraiths, use your Smite spell and Duskbringer on the darker one because it heals the other 3
3rd kill the golems you will have avaliable only Duskbringer because Smite will be on a cooldown and Unspeakable Horror won't be unllocked (you will be level 3) after them go to your base remember to take as second abillity shroud of darkneess because of it's passive (20% attack speed) otherwise you won't survive with golems buy Cloth Armor
4th kill the wolves (again)
5th kill the Ancient Golem (blue buff) use all spells and abilllities avaliable and remember to kill first the two smaller creeps because they cause unnecessary damage
6th kill the wraiths (again)
7th kill the golems (again)
(optional step) 8th lane with the solo laner to get some money or gank the enemy team and when you have the necessery amount of money to buy Wriggle's Lantern recall to base and buy it
9th kill the Lizard Elder (purple/red buff) using Smite and all abilities abillities avaliable (if you didn't follow the optional step above and you don't yet have Wriggle's Lantern ask a teammate to pull the buff so you can take it without losing HP)

In order to become a beast spread around the map sight wards or Vision Wards if you have to deal with stealth players or Teemo's mushrooms. This way you will provide to yourself and your team the necessery map awareness to gank whoever tries to create backdoor's or see low lifed players in the bushes. In this effort try using Wriggle's Lantern which provides a ward every 3 minutes. Paranoia will make enemy team rage quit or just give up. But ganking before level 6 is a matter of skill try ganking enemies who haven't got flassh by using your abillities in the following sequence : Unspeakable Horror Shroud of Darkness then aim Duskbringer and chase the enemy with the laner/rs unill you get the kill, leave him when you hear read mia on the chat or when you get face to face with the enemy turret
Keep in mind that the enemy you chase may be stronger than you so choose your victims wise and don't be too greedy beacause being alive is more usefull tha getting a kill
and REMEMBER always apologize for your killstealings(KS) you want your teammates' assist

To sum up use nocture wise, do not be the first to attack in the team fights and NEVER I said NEVER get in the middle of them , because besides the fact that you won't get any kills you will also feed the enemy champions and open their way to the rest of your team becauese as you live enemies are afraid of your ulti Paranoia and your fear Unspeakable Horror. The way to success is using your abilities correctly, use fear while you are chasing, do not focus on tanks , aim right the Duskbringer and try having good comunication with your teammates and good map awareness
