Hi. This is my build on Twisted Fate. This build mainly focuses on AD nuking. Late game, you should be able to take down even the tankiest characters. Twisted Fate's power makes him a under-priced, op champ.
This build is mainly for 1v1 at mid.
PROS and CONS
-Ult that help ks or finish kills
-Extra money from passive
-Not very good in teamfights
For masteries, I take 21/0/9. Putting points in Attack speed, critical strike, and overall damage output. I also put 9 points in Utility for Mana and HP regen, for staying in lane longer, and also Greed to put a bonus on Twisted Fate's passive. ...
For runes, I take a standard AD carry set of runes. Attack Damage marks, Attack speed seals, and critical strike glyphs. For quintessences, I get one for critical strikes, and another two for Armor penetration.
I open up with Doran's Blade. Like I said, this build is mainly for 1v1 at mid. Doran's Blade gives me hp, and a bit for AD since TF only has two physical attacking moves.
Next, I get Berserker's Greaves for the movement speed and attack speed.
Now, Sword of the Divine. The reason I get Sword of the Divine is because of my E's passive. Sword of the Divine adds more damage to my E and makes you able to focus down enemies quicker.
Phantom Dancer. Lemme ask you this, what AD twisted fate DOESNT get this. Tell me someone and i'll give that idiot an earful.
Now, is the breaker, IF you are doing well, continue with the build. IF not, Replace Black Cleaver with Last Whisper. Usually after getting that, i sell Last whisper and buy the Black Cleaver. The LW helps me get back on track and destroy.
Bloodthirster. The most important item for this build. The bloodthirster gives a Huge pack of damage and also lifesteal. When getting this... it is advised that you go farm and feed your thirster.
The last item. Replace the Doran's blade with Infinity edge. IE=GG
The infinity edge speaks for itself.
Flash- Need. TF doesnt have a escape plan, so Flashing thru walls is helpful
Exhaust- Somewhat need. Slows enemy and makes him/her do less damage
Ignite - Somewhat need. 25% of last minute kills are thru ignite.
Somewhat OK spells
Clairvoyance- use to detect enemies to ult over there and kill
Teleport- Helpful for mid so you dont have to walk over.
Ghost- helpful for getting away.
Clarity- Mana Regain move "w" not needed
Rally- Mainly in mid.. dont need much
Cleanse-... ok... i can see how you can use this but not recommended
Smite- NEVER EVER..
Revive- Who actually gets revive in the first place...
Gives extra money from kills. Plus Greed so.. its awesome
Not the strongest move, but really helpful to kill runaway targets. TIP, to those of you who have and have not heard the rumor... YES the left card does the most amount of damage... I dunno why..
but its true.
PICK A CARD
Pick a card is probably one of my favorite moves of the game. It gives a choice of choosing one of three options:
Mana regain, Stun, and slow.
Option One: Mana Regain.
NEVER EVER USE MANA REGAIN ON A CHAMP. Yes, it does the most damage, but its not designed for that purpose. Use Mana Regain on minions to slowly regain your mana back.
Option Two: Slow.
Slow is probably the best choice when going into a team fight. It slows all enemies and also does exceptional damage.
Option Three: Stun
Stun is the option I use the most. Stun roots the person and it gives me time to hit with Wild Cards, no missing. Stun techinically does more damage than Slow and Mana. The Stun gives you time to throw in 1-2 hits in the target + Wild Cards. So... Stun does the most damage.
Stacked Deck is the main reason for AD TF. So get Sword of the Divine to back it up and... ya.
Ever since the nerf, Destiny hasnt been that useful. On average, i get 1-2 kills from using Destiny, from the usual 3-4 before the nerf. Use destiny wisely.
Prepare your stun before you start casting Destiny. It's sad how many TF's get excited and cast destiny and doesnt have any cc to kill the target because he/she forgot to.
TF is an easy roamer. Take this account for instance.
Your team is winning at top lane. The enemy Yi is running away with low hp.
You position yourself in order to cut off the yi... stun.. and take the kill.
Doing this is very helpful to killing low hp people running away.
