The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
This guide is just to give out some tips to the new Shaco players or to polish the builds of not so new players of Shaco.I will accept anyone who wants to correct me if i have made any mistakes and to those who are just here to troll my guide just f**k off xD
Most Runes that people suggest and use are:
- ARP for red
- Attack Speed or Armor for yellow
- Attack Speed,Mana regen or CD Reduction for blue
- ARP,Health or AD
But i stick to the Full AD since Shaco is an early game burster and 90% of my games dont last more then 30 mins + you are supposed to be a Glass cannon ^_^
Summoner's Wrath - The reason we put points in this talent is because of the + 5 AP & 5 AD boost when Ignite is on cooldown and it costs only 1 point!Isnt That awesome :D
Brute Force - This talent gives us a total +3 Attack Damage which is pretty good for the early game.
Alacrity - Some Attack Speed for faster jungling.
Weapon Expertise - 10% ARP which is always great.
Sorcery - Ok max out sorcery so you can spam those boxes wich are always needed for jungling and tough situations ^_^
Arcane Knowledge - Thx to the Magic Penetration we get a good boost to JiTB and Two-Shiv Poison.
Deadliness - Some more boost to the damage in early game.
Lethality - This 10 % crit damage works perfectly with the Infinity Edge.
Sunder - a little more boost to ARP but only 1 point because we need some in the utility tree.
Executioner - Well the name pretty much says it :D
Good Hands - A few second of the respawn time is always great since you are not a tank >.>
Expanded Mind - Shaco is a bit mana hungry so some extra mana is always good.
Swiftness - The speed boost works perfectly with Boots of Mobility and it can always help chase those who have points in it too.
Runic Affinity - Longer buffs which means more ganks for the team.
Backstab - 20% more damage.If you are attacking an enemy from behind you will able to kill him x2 faster.That counts both for Jungling and attacking the enemy which is great if you consider the fact that when ever you will gank the enemy will try to retreat.To play shaco means to know how to scare off people.Once you get 3-4 kills in the first 10-15 mins they will not even dare to try and 1v1 you.Just remember always attack from the back!!!
Deceive - This skill can be considered as a flash with a 10 sec CD.Its also a great start to a gank since you are stealthed for 3.5 sec, that gives you the opportunity to go infront of your enemy and place a JiTB which will break you stealth but will make a sure kill unless the enemy has a Flash or Ghost to quickly dodge it.And i almost forgot it also give a guaranteed crit for 120% (at lvl 5).
Jack In The Box - This is the hardest skill of Shaco.Most Shaco's have no idea how to use this skill.JiTB can do a pretty good dmg at early game and help out at jungling but thats not their only purpose.They can also be look at as a 1.5 sec aoe stun which can be used either to get away or to pwn your victim at the lane you are ganking.JiTB can also be used as a 90 sec ward or to protect you while you are stealing buff's from your enemy jungler.
Two-Shiv Poison - This is skill is great to finish off your enemy if he is running on low hp because it deals a decent amount of dmg and it slows them for 3 sec but dont hurry with this skill since it stack perfectly with Red buff and your Sheen/ Trinity Force and if you start off with Two-Shiv Poison you wont be able to slow te target for another 8 sec.
Hallucinate - A lot of people say that Shaco's ult sucks but thats because they dont know how to use it.It can be used as a Bait, or to finish of an enemy on low hp.You can also use it to dodge a skill if you hit the right timing (ignite,stun,slow,snare etc.)
Since a lot of people asked me how to move your ult i guess i will have to add this too -.- Just press Alt+Right Click.
Your Favourite items must be Wriggle's Lantern, Boots of Mobility and Trinity Force.
Wriggle's Lantern - this awesome item gives you Armor,Life Steal,Attack Damage plus a bonus ward which can always be placed at Drake or the buff's of your enemy.And it only cost 1.6k
Boots of Mobility - This boots give so much mobility that combined with Deceive can always help you to leave the battle at so much low hp that the enemy will always call you lucker and rage for that.
Trinity Force - This item is must have for Shaco. The benefits of this item is the constant upgrade, and for that everytime you are not having a good game you can buy some sort of item that will make you stronger.I just cant describe how much this item helps Shaco.Only thing to say is that this item is made for him.
Infinity Edge - Infinity is the main source of Shaco's damage and it works perfectly with Deceive and Two-Shiv Poison.
For those games you will have you can also build:
Guardian Angel - to save your @$$ if any of the lanes has been fed.
Hexdrinker - this item is also a life saver if the enemy AP carry is fed.
If you can afford an Oracle always buy it after Trinity Force so you can clear those anoying wards.
For summoner spells I strongly recommend Smite and Ignite.But you can replace the Ignite with Flash if you are a beginner altho the Ignite can help out at most situations if your enemy is flashes out on low health.
For jungling I recommend that you try off a few games with bots so you can get used to Shaco and his abillities.Then start doing some normal games and try to steal buffs from your enemy because that will mostly make them useless since you will kill them when they get their buff.
You can also Solo Drake at lvl 6 as soon as you get your Wriggle's Lantern and of course your Smite isnt in CD.
