Introduction

Hello all, the names ShiyokuShi. Recently, the champion Zac has be released and entered the Institute for the fields of Justice to behold. After playing him in Public Beta Environment I came to love him, and decided to make a guide based on my experience upon his release and PBE time.

These are the runes, Irecommend. Movespeed Quints for mobility to gank, Red Magic pen for increased damage, Yellow armor for durability and Blue magic resist per level.

A more defensive route if you feel the enemy team can be dangerous to engage upon. Armor provides great protection and health provides durability.

Running 4 in Offensive will provide decent cool-down reduction for minimal cost, the 23 in defensive will give great survivability for jungling as well as those clutch counter-ganks. Finally, the 3 in utility give nice movement speed.

You being a jungler, you're going to want to get some damage on the jungle creeps and this not only supplies that. It also provides great health, health regeneration, armor and Tenacity. The Mana regeneration is wasted but its fine to look over that.

Since you will be gaining your tenacity from your nifty Spirit of the Ancient Golem or will be building it soon enough, you have the luxury to build that good ole' Boots of Mobility. This right here allows you to have massive movement speed which chains into amazing ganks.

With all this health you are building up, why not add more health? Lets add some extra slows that apply to all your abilities and some Ap and WALLA! You get the amazing Rylai's Crystal Scepter for all your needs.

While you're gaining all this health you may need more resistances. Sunfire Cape provides good resistance, while allowing you to deal damage overtime to nearby enemies and provides health. Even more things Zac wants.

While you don't need to nesseccarily deal alot of damage, more sustain never hurt. And added damage sure never hurt nobody... except your enemies. Not only do you benefit from the spell vamp, your allies will also gain from it

An aura that assists teammates even further? Yes please. This item right here provides armor, health regen and magic resist not only to allied champions but to minions as well. Great for pushing, and just being able to survive fights.

Spells

Summoner Spells



Flash: A very good summoner spell to take on any Champion. Its a gap closer, escape tool and helps if you need to get quick space between you and your enemy to land that Elastic SlingShot

Smite: Since you are afterall jungling, this spell is a must. It allows you to clear camps early very well. Can assist you in stealing the enemy junglers buffs, and steal dragon/baron kills!

Exhaust: A good alternative for flash. Provides a slow and damage reduction. Great for slowing that slippery singed.

Abilities

LET'S BOUNCE



CELL DIVISION: This passive heals Zac for 4% of his Maximum health per skill use. It also splits Zac into four body parts each with 10% of his maximum health upon death. This has a 5 MINUTE COOLDOWN



STRETCHING STRIKE: Streching Strike, Zac's Q is a semi short range slow that deals magical damage upon contact. Cost 4% of his current health. Unless you feel it necessary to max this ability, you're mainly gaining the slow.
Tips and Tricks
  • Streching Strike is a great way to catch chasing opponents
  • Can be used to slow opponents
  • Don't be afraid to use it during teamfights



UNSTABLE MATTER: Similar to Zac's other skills, it only cost 4% of current health. This ability deals a percentage of the enemies maximum health, as well as has a low cooldown. You will want to max this first if jungling.
Tips and Tricks
  • Deals Percentage of enemies HP
  • Spamming at Camps for fast cleartime
  • Allows Zac to build a bit more tanky since it deals fixed damage



ELASTIC SLINGSHOT: At the cost of 4% of your maximum health, you're able to close a large distance for little cost. This can be your gap closer, escape tool and initiation.
Tips and Tricks
  • If cast'd on the edge of baron and dragon from the back, you can gain vision of said area.
  • Great for catching or escaping from opponents
  • Screams "INCOMING"



LET'S BOUNCE LET'S BOUNCE: This is Zac's Ultimate. At no cost at all, zac jumps into the air dealing magical damage, knocking back people hit by it for the first time (all other hits deal 50% damage and no knockback) and bounces 2 more times. This ultimate can engage, disrupt, escape and deal damage all in one.
Tips and Tricks
  • Don't be afraid to use this to get out of sticky situations
  • Can be used to disrupt casting moves
  • Great for catching enemies

Zac Is great for almost any team comp. His kite is above average and just makes him an overall slippery champion
