Farming

To farm at the start of the game you want to use your Razor Shuriken to damage most of the minions wave and poke with it at the same time(MAKE SURE YOU HIT THE ONE WITH MOST HP FIRST, or at least one that isn't really low because of the nurf it had) At level 2 you want to use your living shadow to rather poke the enemy with one and hit the minion wave with the other, use both to hit the enemy or both to destroy the minion wave. When you are level 3 clearing minion waves are sooooo easy all you do is place your living shadow in the middle of the minion wave come up to the wave and use your Shadow Slash it will just destroy them and the few survivors kill with your Razor Shuriken Also poke by using your living shadow near your enemy and use Shadow Slash then your Razor Shurikun and if he is low Reactivate your Living Shadow to teleport to the Shadow and ignite him along with a Shadow slash and I Razor Shurikun.

Your Skill Combo

Pre level 6 you W to the enemy, Then E(If the shadow hits the target the target will be slowed, if hit by you and your shadow the slow will last longer and be stronger)you want to Q the Target with your shadow and your self, lastly if the shadow is close to the enemy and you need that extra distance you want to reactivate it then ignite to finish the target off(If your shadow wont help you if you reactivate it just flash)

Summoner Spells

**Ignite** I like to take Ignite because if you let loose all of your skills you cant do much more damage and its likely that they are about to die so I just ignite while i'm letting loose my spells to finish the target off BUT if you want a diffrent sum spell you can live without it.

**Flash** Flash is really good if the target is low to get that final hit, to do that flash, ignite combo, a extra escape if you already used your ult and your Living Shadow, AND a gap closer no reason not to have this on zed.

**teleport** If you don't care much for ignite teleport can work. because you already have a triple gap closer (Your W, Ult, and flash) you can easily catch up with the enemy and take him down.

Skills

**Your Q** Razor Shuriken: Zed and his shadows throw their shurikens, each dealing 75/115/155/195/235 (+100% bonus AD) physical damage to the first enemy they pass through, and 45/69/93/117/141 (+60% bonus Attack Damage) physical damage to each additional enemy. Additional shurikens that hit the same enemy deal 50% less damage than the previous shuriken. This can poke early on and take down minion waves well.

**Your W** Living shadow: Passive: Grants 5/10/15/20/25% additional bonus Attack Damage.

Active: Zed's shadow dashes forward, remaining in place for 4 seconds. Reactivating Living Shadow will cause Zed to switch positions with this shadow. Zed's shadows mimic his abilities. If an ability strikes any target twice, Zed restores 20/25/30/35/40 energy. Energy can only be restored once per mimicked ability. This is what makes Zed, Zed living shadow can be a gap, a escape and when combined with other skills do TONS of damage.

**Your E** Shadow slash: Zed and his shadow slash, dealing 60/90/120/150/180 (+80% bonus AD) physical damage to nearby enemies. Each enemy champion hit by Zed's Shadow Slash reduces Living Shadow's cooldown by 2 seconds. Each enemy hit by a mimicked Shadow Slash will be slowed by 20/25/30/35/40% for 1.5 seconds.Enemies hit by both Shadow Slashes will be slowed by 30/37.5/45/52.5/60% but will not take additional damage. A good slow if you need to slow down the enemy and a fantastic wave clearer combined with your Living Shadow.

**Your R/Ult** Death mark: Active: Zed becomes untargetable and dashes to target enemy champion. Upon arrival, he marks the target for death and spawns a living shadow at his starting position. This shadow lasts 6 seconds and mimics Zed's abilities. Reactivating Death Mark will cause Zed to switch positions with this shadow. It is like your Living Shadow but, better because you can ult and enemy and if you get low you can use your living shadow and flash, if they chase you just reactivate it and you will teleport to your shadow you made

Items

I like to take a Dorans Shield at the start of the game because zed doesn't have much sustain early game. The cutlass is something I like to rush just because it makes you do so much damage and the extra sustain with the life steal (Also when active the slow and damage is so strong) The defensive items are self explanatory Banshee if AP champions are really hurting you and the Omen if AD champions are hurting you. I like to get the Blade Of The Ruin King first mid game is because of that extra attack speed and its a buffed cutlass. The Black Cleaver gives you more sustain and gives you a little more damage. The reason behind The Ghost Blade is the cooldown reduction, crit, passive, and a little bit a damage. I like the infinity edge on zed because the crit chance combined with the life steal is amazing. The Hydra just give you more damage and sustain. I get the GA(Guardian Angel) if i'm having trouble surviving and the Last Whisper if I don't really need the GA.

Strategies

**extra XP** Even if there is a jungler you want to use your living shadow into the wraiths use your Razor Shuriken then you want to reactivate your Living Shadow to teleport in there so finish them off with a Shadow Slash

**1 v 1's** First you want to place a living shadow near the enemy, use your Shadow Slash, then your ult after then you want to quickly Shadow Slash again, after that you use your razor shuriken to finish things off

**team fights** If one of your teamates are low and are trying to escape you want to place your living shadow where your "friend is" and wait for someone to chase him once he gets close to your shadow you use shadow slash reactivate your Living shadow and just skill spam the target. If nobody is low you want to put your living shadow in your team then you want to ult after that spell spam (make sure you are at a good distance).
