Hello i'm a gold 5 mid main and I play zed when I can and have good success with and i'm going to teach you to.

Runes I like to run

3x ad quints
9x ad marks
9x armor seals
9x mr per lvl or 9x flat mr glyphs

21/9/0 is what I like since you will be dominate in lane.

Building assassin will be your best bet

so either start red pot 3 health pots if your faceing most mid's or dorans shield if you want to play safe earlyget CDR boots if ahead merc treads if not Rush Blade of the ruined king first, then brutilizer, Last whisper, then you have a choice finish black clever or go Guardian angel, then build which every one u didn't (black clever or GA) Maw of malmorties last item

Passive: Does ton of damage and makes last hitting a breeze

Q: is a early last hitting tool that can be used for harass/csing

W: shadow that mimics your q and e, is a strong escape tool

E: aoe move that puts a slow on the enemy while doing damage, strong for clearing waves quickly

R: puts a mark on an enemy then all your damage is amplified puts a shadow down from where u jumped from so good to use as an escape

When you split push your job is to take towers while your team is somewhere else. This means as zed you have to be able to be strong enough to fight most likely a tank so follow the build. But be careful make sure you ward and stay safe if the other team is mia.

Zed is an amazing assassin with great escape potential and split push is unmatched during lane you pressure mid with your q nd w. Your roam is also every strong when you have ulti.

Most of the time they will play safe so that gives you a great chance to roam the map and get snowballing.

Pros
-Strong all game
-can destroy fed carry's
-Strong split push
-Huge power spikes when ulti is leveled
-uses energy

Cons
-Is really weak level 1-4
-Doesn't have a very reliable escape
-Guardian angel and quick silver sash nullify Zed's ulti

Very easy to farm with your q and e. Can use w but be careful about getting ganked during that time.
