Hi, my name is CplSkrim and i am an Norwegian mid laner that plays on the EUW server. I have around 200 games on zed and finds him very fun to play. Even tough i have played 200 games on him i still dont feel like i have mastered him yet. Mainly because he is a very hard champ to play. This is my first guide so no haterino pls :D And i hope you guys enjoy it and learn something.

Pros
+ Very few counters
+ Has alot of outplay potential
+ Easy to farm with
+ Good wave clear
+ Good to split pusher
+ Fun to play

Cons
- Squisy
- Needs to all in for a kill
- Hard to master
- Can easily be countered by Zhonyas
- Uses alot of energy in lane.

Greater Mark of Armor Penetration
You want to go armor pen because your main goal is to assassinate squisy targets. From these runes u will have 12 armor pen, and with a early Brutalizer u will have 22. So going armor pen marks is the best.

Greater Seal of Armor
Every team has some kind physical damgage, so having armor is very important because u are a very squisy champion.

Greater Glyph of Magic Resist
This is just a very good pick up, since u will be playing against many AP casters in the mid lane. Also in the meta right now u will find many AP tanks in the top lane such as Maokai, Ryze and Vladimir.

Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage
What else can u really run? This gives you a nice amount of damage to harass in lane. And is the overall the best u can run.

Other runes you can use in certain situations

Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction
Many like to run CD reduction on Zed but in my opinion glyphs of MR is the best in this meta. But this can be used against heavy AD comps.

Greater Seal of Health
U can go this if your against heavy AP comps, but in my opinion seal of armor is the right choise.

Greater Quintessence of Armor Penetration
You can actually run 2 armor pen quints and 1 AD quint but u will not have same amount of damage in the early levels. It is just something you need to try out and see what you like.
