First of all you may be wondering how Ziggs is a beneficial ADC? Well, the answer is that his passive with his high attack damage makes him one of the best picks for a high damage output carry. I would compare him to Ezreal as he relies on his abilities to start an engagement and of course end one. However, none of his abilities scale off AD so they are not going to be as resourceful as others.
[short fuse] - This passive is great because it gives Ziggs a head-start in damage early
Passive game against other carries.
[bouncing bomb] - This is a semi-useful skill because it allows Ziggs to last hit creeps
Q and apply additional damage to other carries.
[satchel charge] - This is great for escaping or securing a kill as it launches you or a
W champion in the air dependent on which side you are standing on.
[hexplosive minefield] - This is a great for denying the enemy carry CS as people tend
E blocks them off between them self and the CS they crave. It also synergies with you're passive and AD.
[mega inferno bomb] - This is An AWESOME ultimate as it has a huge AOE and allows you to
push an enemy carry out of lane or even kill him if he flashes away
