Ziggs was born with a talent for tinkering, but his chaotic, hyperactive nature was unusual among yordle scientists. Aspiring to be a revered inventor like Heimerdinger, he rattled through ambitious projects with manic zeal, emboldened by both his explosive failures and his unprecedented discoveries. Word of Ziggs' volatile experimentation reached the famed Yordle Academy in Piltover and its esteemed professors invited him to demonstrate his craft. His characteristic disregard for safety brought the presentation to an early conclusion, however, when the hextech engine Ziggs was demonstrating overheated and exploded, blowing a huge hole in the wall of the Academy. The professors dusted themselves off and sternly motioned for him to leave. Devastated, Ziggs prepared to return to Bandle City in shame. However, before he could leave, a group of Zaunite agents infiltrated the Academy and kidnapped the professors. The Piltover military tracked the captives to a Zaunite prison, but their weapons were incapable of destroying the fortified walls. Determined to outdo them, Ziggs began experimenting on a new kind of armament, and quickly realized that he could harness his accidental gift for demolition to save the captured yordles.
Before long, Ziggs had created a line of powerful bombs he lovingly dubbed ''hexplosives.'' With his new creations ready for their first trial, Ziggs traveled to Zaun and sneaked into the prison compound. He launched a gigantic bomb at the prison and watched with glee as the explosion tore through the reinforced wall. Once the smoke had cleared, Ziggs scuttled into the facility, sending guards running with a hail of bombs. He rushed to the cell, blew the door off its hinges, and led the captive yordles to freedom. Upon returning to the Academy, the humbled professors recognized Ziggs with an honorary title - Dean of Demolitions - and proposed that he demonstrate this new form of yordle ingenuity in the League of Legends. Vindicated at last, Ziggs accepted the proposal, eager to bring his ever-expanding range of hexplosives to the greatest testing grounds in the world: the Fields of Justice.

Ziggs is a skill shot champion where if you have ever played Team Fortress 2 it's kinda like the soldier in the sense where u kinda have to learn from the way a enemy retreats and guess that they are going where you think they are. In other words "w" and "e" require assumption most of the time to get them to land on a enemy.
My choice of spells would normally be flash and ignite because i think we all hate when a guy gets away with like 100 hp left. If you dont want flash or ignite my others suggestions would be teleport or/and clarity just to help if you are a mid ziggs or if yu really have a pet peeve for ziggs mana.
I don't have much for different items to get i suggest it at least has AP on it because you are a terra-bad ziggs w/o your AP
If you don't like ziggs mana problem i suggest get archangels staff 1st so that late game you will have a lot of mana. The reason I don't get archangels staff immediately is because I like the Rabadon's for my early game speed kills.
I would also like to Point out the fact that the ultimate says 90% of ability power = damage so more ability power more damage.
Same goes for all of the other spells that ziggs has but satchel doesn't have high ability power converted because it is more utility than part of the burst combination.
I think a ganking spell sequence is always nice you throw your "w" and "e" out there to block the lane so either way he is going to get slowed down on attempt on retreat, and then your very low CD "q" just keep launching it.
Stay back and don't get killed(you die fast)
launch in "q"(don't go in just to throw it, just harass)
If the enemies start to retreat go up and either flash or "w" jump and then nuke them down most enemies will decide to try and get you,turning around and trying to get you, your allies are catching up to you.
MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL:
Landing your ultimate
realize that ziggs throws the bomb so you need to realize how far away you are from the landing zone and how slow the bomb goes, once you get the hang of that you will start racking up some kills.
And Remember To try and get out your spells ASAP but while you are also landing the spells
ziggs is a amazing burst ranged dps. But if you cant land the spells then he isn't very good.
I dont have much on this topic but i would suggest to go either offense or utility. Ziggs gets killed pretty easily either way so don'y waste your masteries trying to help you.
I would Suggest You take either AP runes or cool-down reduction
most of the other runes aren't very helpful unless you are tired of ziggs mana problems and you could go mana runes
AP runes allow Ziggs to pull off better early game nuke easier.
