@albableat, If you play mages properly, there's no need for Satchel Charge early. It's a fairly unreliable escape mechanism to be honest, and the only use I ever have for it is to jump over walls for quick escapes (when being chased), or to displace my enemies when my allies are facing them in combat. Alot of times, I've allowed an enemy to close the gap on me by mistake, because of the way Satchel Charge is dependednt on the direction of the player(s) on top of it. (ie: If I'm on the Purple Team, and I place my W in front of me, and I'm running towards my home base, Satchel Charge will launch me 1 of 3 ways, depending on where I'm standing: 1. If in front of the box (Facing my home base), I'll be knocked towards my base. 2. If on top of the box, I'm launched at random. 3. If behind the box (Farthest away from my base), I'm knocked backwards, into a terrible position. Add this unreliability on top of a long cooldown, and you get a gimmicky escape mechanism that will only save you from certain death half the time or less. Since I'm almost always in mid with Ziggs, I never need it early. I know how to play smart, so I never need his Gimmicky escape until mid to late game, where it's more useful.

@shatfaced, I refuse to take anything you say seriously, due to the fact that you've provided absolutely nothing to back up your comment. I always go with my above build, and I do just fine with it, rarely ever having as many deaths as kills. Until you can provide any kind of argument as to why you think my items and such are "fail", I'll disregard your remarks as trolling. Also, learn to spell please. I'm amazed you have a guide on here when your literature skills are that of a first-grader's. And yet you have the audacity to insult my build when you can't even spell. How sad.

Sorry dude, but Shatfaced is completely right.

Reasons why this guide is bad:
  • Your skill sequence, my god dude. That is hideous. You must have never played a ranked game in your entire life. Probably not even level 30 yet.
  • NO BB CODE AT ALL - You could have at least had some color!
  • No health until your last item, da faq? You are going to die.
  • No pictures or proof of you doing well with this build
  • You do not respect people's criticism
  • Clarity instead of Ignite is noobish.
  • 'If you play mages properly, there's no need for Satchel Charge early' I would destroy you any game mid.

Here are some more reasons why this guide is pure ****.
1- You take clarity. Total waste of a summoner skill.
2- You rush an Archangel, WHY? You already have clarity, and its not a good item om ziggs at all. Hes not that mana hungry, and if you're having that much trouble, take the blue buff like every other person with a brain.
3- You don't take satchel charge until lvl 12, I want to see you post your previous games scores on here, I call ******** on you and I know I'm right. Its an escape, AND it slows your enemies retreat or can save a teammates life. How stupid do you need to be to not take this at lvl 4?
4- Your masteries are ******ed. You actually spec into 4% attack speed rather than getting the ap per lvl? It just keeps getting dumber, Thanks to your ignorant reply and downvote on my build I think I'll put a link to yours on my page so more people can laugh at you.
5- You use secondary seals, why don't you take mp5 seals so you don't need to have a useless summoner skill and AA? Clarity is useless endgame.
6- You dont even know how to make a guide. All you have is a white wall of text, learn bb code so you can actually read this ****.
7- You're a douchebag so piss off and enjoy my downvote.

i wont downvote your guide, but items choices are pure fail, just like your summoner spells and your skill sequence. I hope no new players read this. they'll probably never use ziggs again if they start out following ur guide.
