Welcome to my guide for Zyra... She is hard to play and extremely difficult for beginners... This guide is for a build that even beginners should find easy to pick up on! This is my first guide so please be understanding... I just want to get this info out to others.
I used a mixture of attack runes but i would leave this to preference... I like added attack damage and speed but zyra is squishy so you may want to stack armor and magic resist or health runes!
I used a 21 0 9 build picking up all the AP bonuses and then building utility till i got the %20 buff duration! This seemed good but I think i will try a 30 0 0 build with AD and AP... Will post results.
I started with a Boots of Speed and 3 Health Potions... Built that into Boots of Swiftness for chasing down early game ganks. Then I started Malady, a cheap item with AP, attack speed, and extra damage and magic resist debuff. After that work on a Nashor's Tooth... Its another relatively cheap item with attack speed, AP, Mana Regen, and Cooldown Reduction. Next I got wits end for added magic damage and magic resist buff, and a nice attack speed bonus. Then If you are getting kills build a Hextech Revolver... It gets everything... AP, AD, Lifesteal, Spell Vamp, and a nice active that slows and reduces healing. Next build a Guinsoo's Rageblade... This provides attack speed, and AP and AD. If you get a further chance you can switch your boots to suit your situation or do as i did and sell them and buy another item. I bought a Frozen Mallet fro added health and slow as well as AD.
Set seeds in brush and then pop out and lure enemies in... Then whip out 4 thorn spitters for a quick kill.
Use Stranglethorn and Grasping Roots in combination to slow enemies and keep them in range of your plants for the maximum amount of damage.
Use the seeds in brush to monitor possible ganks and keep your team safe.
Creeping / Jungling
Jungling is super easy... Pop out 4 seeds and make 4 thorn spitters... then just sit back and DESTROY mobs... Even the dragons are super easy!
My first game with this build... look at damage output vs. damage recieved
As i said before first guide... please don't nitpick it... See anything you like or want to discuss just add me on LOL or message me! Thanks and good luck!
