Hi im Dylan, Zerodyl and this is my first guide so please feel free to leave tips comments and opinion on the guide and how it may be improved.
Zyra is a ranged mage who specializes in snaring her opponent,deals high amounts of damage while also summoning plants to assist in taking down her prey.
Pros / Cons
+Deals high amounts of damage
+rather good pusher
+Majority of her skills are AoE
+good for farming
+Long ranged fighter
-bad against gap closers or high mobility champs
-Ulti has a delayed reaction
Zyra is a mid-lane champion.
- Going top or bottom is a location that should be avoided since she has little mobility.
- Jungling is do-able but it is also quite difficult to do, not recommended unless you can pull it off

about 37 mana every 5 seconds helps with lane sustain throughout the game

magic penetration, a must for any mage

more ap early game to help with damage
Zyra lacks in escaping so this summoner spell is a must for her
Ignite is something I usually take for when I'm trying to finish off someone running, it is also a great summoner spell to be matched with zyra's passive
Great for out running or chasing
weaken's your foe for a short period of time handy if you are trying to get the edge in on the fight but as zyra you will be trying to fight at a range
Decent summoner skill if you are new to zyra
handy for getting around the map fast
Passive:What can I say this has definitely got to be the best if not one of the best passive's this game has.when you die for 8 seconds you can do 1 attack that will deal true damage in a straight line.
Q:After a short delay spikes come up from the ground dealing Damage in the selected are, similiar to Cho'Gath Rupture.If a seed is hit by this it will turn into a plant that will attack ( long range)
W: summons a seed what will act like a ward for 30 seconds, if the seed is stood on by an opponent the seed will be destroyed but will reveal the opponent for approximately 5 seconds.it also passively gives you 4/8%/12%/16%/20% cooldown reduction
E:This skill will snare anything it touches in a straight line.If a seed is hit by this it will turn into a plant that will attack (short range)
R:This skill summons a very large thorn that deals damage on cast and if opponents are within the vine after 2 seconds of being cast they are knocked into the air.If a plant is hit by this its attack speed is increased by 50%
Harass:>Deadly Bloom for long ranged plant attacks
> for short range slowing plant attacks

Tips and Tricks
The delay between the casting of is actually beneficial to Zyra since while her Deadly bloom or Grasping Roots is mid cast she can place 1-2 Rampant Growth seeds.
Rampant Growth+ deadly bloom=Long ranged plant, no disability
Rampant Growth+ Grasping Roots=short ranged plant, with slow
Zyra can place up to 4 seeds but must be within 30 seconds.
Abyssal ScepterThis item is a very good swap out for Archangel's Staff if you do not have mana issue's
Rod of AgesThis item is if you find yourself losing the majority of your'e being forced to recall very often. if you decide to take this it will probably replace the Archangel's Staff or Zhonya's Hourglass
