Good day, summoners. Few months ago I posted theme about my project of LoL’s champion’s figurines. Unfortunately that theme did not attract much attention due to lack of any images. But right now I can introduce you the first items of my project. It is a relief if somebody don’t know what it is (information from Wikipedia):
Relief, or relievo rilievo, is a sculptural technique. The term relief is from the Latin verb relevo, to raise. To create a sculpture in relief is to give the impression that the sculpted material has been raised above the background plane. What is actually performed when a relief is cut in from a flat surface of stone (relief sculpture) or wood (relief carving) is a lowering of the field, leaving the unsculpted parts seemingly raised. The technique involves considerable chiselling away of the background, which is a time-consuming exercise with little artistic effect if the lowered background is left plain, as is often the case. On the other hand, a relief saves forming the rear of a subject, and is less fragile and more securely fixed than a sculpture in the round, especially one of a standing figure where the ankles are a potential weak point, especially in stone. In other materials such as metal, clay, plaster stucco, ceramics or papier-mache the form can be just added to or raised up from the background, and monumental bronze reliefs are made by casting.
From images below you will understand what LoL’s champion it is. But I must specify few things (before post anything please read it):
•This item was made mostly for training to feel the world of League of Legends and its heroes;
•My friend did not have enough material and it was made in very short time so he did not have chance to perfect this item and it may has few limitations;
•The main items of my project still remain figurines and this item was made to show people what can be done and analyze people’s reaction.

Good day, everyone. Few months ago I created this theme where I shared my project. Unfortunately it did not bring much attention because I could show people only half-made figurine. But at last the day has come when I can show you complete figurine. You can check it out at links below.

Thanks. Actually it took very long to create, mostly because of Ahri’s tails. We really spent some time to fix it. It took us around 3-3.5 months to complete both figures. Many delays came because we are doing other stuff.

Good day, friends. It has been a while since I posted updates for my project. But the time has come and I finally can show you our new works. You can see many new works theme but if talking about LoL – you can see upgraded photos of old figures (Sona, Sivir and old Ahri’s figures).
You can see new upgraded figures of Ahri and absolutely new figures of Syndra as well many other works.

Oh, I remember this. Amazing work! What material do you use for this? Some form of stone?

Thanks for sharing!
