EUW IceCreamy8's journey to Gold!

Sooo since I know that there is a free Janna skin up for grabs, I really want to get gold. I start playing today, and hope to get Gold before October 23rd (when Season 2 ends).

Starting ELO: 1296. Goal: 1500.

I already finished my first game:



So, this game looks easier than it seems. There were a lot of derps on both sides. Bot was completely losing, and I wasn't that great either. I missed an easy first blood by failing my Charm, and not much later I got ganked and gave first blood instead.

Luckily our jungle Blitzcrank saved our early game, making great Flashganks in top and mid, netting me and Wukong some kills. Due to this I could pretty much carry the game, ultimately leading to a quadra kill for me, leaving Gragas at 100 hp (ult and Flash down.....). After that Alistar and Wukong just provided too much CC for them to handle, along with some more awesome Blitzcrank pulls peeling them down 1 by 1 ( Ezreal scored a lot of those kills, covering his bad score in laning :P), securing the victory for us.

Current ELO: 1311.

I was going to play another one, but something went wrong sending my duo queue mate (didn't play with him in above game) into queue while leaving me behind. He left, got a 30 min penalty and currently I am waiting for that to be over :P

By the way I am looking for a duo queue partner to play with regularly. I will make a list of what I can play:

Support: Soraka, Janna, Leona, Nunu, Sona, Kayle, ( Taric)
AP Carry: Ahri, Lux, Cassiopeia, Twisted Fate, Brand, Anivia, Morgana, ( LeBlanc, Kennen, Karthus)
AD Carry: Sivir, Graves, Tristana, Ezreal, ( Caitlyn, Ashe)
Jungle: Amumu, Lee Sin, Malphite, Shen, ( Rammus, Tryndamere)

I can play those between brackets, but not as well as the others listed. My main is mid, support being second. I only play other roles when my team is *****ing me to play another role.

So if you are interested (and over 1400 ELO), let me know :) I usually play in evenings and weekends (but not always, and sometimes I will be so tired from school that I will play like ****, so I would rather not play).

So, played that game with the guy I was talking about earlier:



Matchmaking really derped there, all of the other players were well over 1400 while we are not. Thanks to this we only lost 10 ELO. They had a <1300 player, Jayce, who was way better than 1300 anyways. Basically everything was unbalanced.

Anyhow, explaining about the game. Things started off really bad, when Ezreal randomly strolled our jungle and gave first blood with 3 assists to Jax. Irelia was instantly screwed over in her lane, even though my mate playing Udyr did his best at ganking top. Sadly Ezreal turned out to be a real derp, and had no clue of what to do. I was being aggressive all the time, while he was just passively farming, resulting and quite a lot of deaths for me. Our Twisted Fate was pretty good, but all in all we just didn't play as a team, and lost as a result of that.

Current ELO: 1301.

Played another game:



It started off pretty bad, Skarner could not get our blue because of counterjungling. Warwick cleaned up the small golems, while Skarner started wraiths + red. Bot was all about passively farming, which is their mistake because Vayne + Taric can be really scary when played offensive. In mid, Morgana was beating Anivia pretty hard while in top Warwick had no problems with Shen.
The only one who did well on their team was Lee Sin, picking up first blood on Skarner and about a minute later got another kill on Skarner. He was a real baddie, who was bossing people around, claiming roles like he was the only one on the world while he played like 500 ELO...
Anyhow after a while Lee Sin apparently ragequit, for no real reason as he was carrying his team. Him leaving left a simple win for us ^^

Current ELO: 1313.

Though since you main supports (iirc) you might want to get a duo queue partner to AD with you. ;)
