Why is Fizz damage output so low? I played him during free week and built him correctly but I was last on damage every match, even below tanks. My k/d ratio is 3/1 because hes fantastic and chasing down runners. Any ideas? My purchase order is sorcerers shoes, rod of ages, lich bane, Deathcap...It seems ALL he has is burst and no sustained damage.

Fizz dmg low? You must be kiddin me bro. double dorans, sorc shoes, rabba if ahead, sheen if game is even. ****ton of dmg.

Fizz has one of the highest bursts late game, only chars like Veigar/leblanc seem to outshine him. Could mean your not using your burst enough  Thanks to JEFFY40HANDS for the awesome sig:D |

I dont get dorans at all. Late game I agree he has some of the best burst damage but early game its non existent. Maybe its my items, I have no idea.....

 Fizz is very close to being OP, he can instagib most champs with ult, jump to people thingy, autoattack with DoT. If it is not enough, you can trollpole away before the enemy can even react. gg.

You have to get some early damage, get 1-2(3 if you can't afford the sorc shoes when you went back). Fizz's only defence from constant harrass in lane is his ability to instagib the enemy laner, make him fear you with damage items and they gonna die soo much! After your doran's, you need a deathcap followed by a lichbane.. That my dear friend is damage..

I rush Sheen after boots, but I tend to do that on a lot of champions.

in my opinion, fizz outplays almost any champ at mid/top , u should check masteries and that if u feel u got low damage, cuz he is one of the top 10 most annoying early game champs,, if u get sheen before 15 mins ur ganks gon be insane... i mean thats only my opinion, but really, the only way "Fizz" and the word "low damage" can be in the same sentence is if there's a "doesnt has" in the middle :P

I build pretty much the same, though I usually go RoA Hat Lich instead.
I don't really know what you're talking about. Early game his not that strong, but lategame..... It makes sense he's not that strong early though. His Q relies partially on his total AD which he will have little of early game, and his W gets a bonus from it too (simply right clicking) His E and R both have ok base damages, nothing amazing, but great ratios. But yeah, if you're having damage problems lategame there's definately something wrong. I've accidentally killed people with his shark, because it does WAY too much damage. Seriously, I've sharked, and then jumped towards people, only to find out that jumping was pointless, because the shark killed them in one hit, from like 60% of their hp.
