I mean, I could understand Archengel's because of the passive, but Lich Bane? Man, that's alrigh if you wanna be an AP carry, but ROA, FoN, Rylay, Rab, **** is the way to go

If it was a choice between AA and Lich Bane, I think Lich Bane would actually be a more viable choice. You have to look at a few factors when building AA:
-you're assuming that it'll have it's +1000 mana, but you should have an idea how long that'll take. It's not that easy to build an AA with Singed. Singed's Q doesn't build it up, so it'll only be his W and E and minutely his R. With that being said, if you wanna build your Tear up, it'll have to be one of your starting items which drastically puts you at a downfall cause you'll be late in getting your RoA or something like that. Even champions like Urgot or Ryze can go a 25 minute game without their Tear being maxed out despite their spammable abilities. Just think about how it'll be for Singed.

Lich Bane, on the other hand, once you have it, it's at its full potential. It gives MR AND Speed, which is something Singed can benefit from greatly. You may not realize it, but Singed auto attacks quite often. When you fling an enemy behind you and he's about to die, I'm sure that's when you'll start your auto attacking.

On my Singed, I build a mix of Mpen and Atk Damage runes. My attack damage runes are OP early game when champs up top try to 1v1 me.

In reality though, both items are terrible.

How is lich bane terrible lmfao, free mr, mana for hp, movespeed, ap for q and e (and you get a free auto whenever you e somebody for the lichbane proc).

Also if you don't build rylai's on singed just uninstall. Singed is ridiculously op, its just less then .5% of this community plays him correctly.

Not buying Rylai's Crystal Scepter because you want people to chase you is the biggest noob trap ever. Some situations:

• Your team tries to run away, but no, you didn't bought Rylai's Crystal Scepter and your team gets caught.
• You try to chase someone and hold him in place until Fling and Mega Adhesive are back up, but no, you didn't bought Rylai's Crystal Scepter.
• You try to slow their whole team by running around them so your team has a big advantage, but no, you didn't bought Rylai's Crystal Scepter.

For me, Rylai's Crystal Scepter is the most important Singed item in the game (which I also exlain at my guide).

Archangel's Staff and Lich Bane are both medicore on Singed, but there are better items for him. In my build, Archangel's Staff would replace Rod of Ages and Lich Bane would replace Rabadon's Deathcap, but I think, RoA+Rabadon's are both better.

I build him tanky AP carry.
RoA+Rylai's+Abyssal+Zhonya's+Rabadons.
Run in, poison everyone, Fling for 1k damage, activate zhonyas for maximum trolling.

I love the input in here. I indeed go for Rod of Ages first usually. I also wanted to add more speed, which is why I tried Lich Bane. I really thought Archangel's Staff would be great on him, since he already benefits grandly from a large mana pool by turning it into HP, he could also turn it into more AP. I guess I'm going to experiment more, I really enjoy his trolling powers.
