She was played a lot when she first arrived, now I see a Lulu selected about once every weak. It used to be the same case scenario for Sona, until now.

i was in love with sona before the nerfs...got all her skins too...and isnt it rather a buffnerf and more of a nerf?

How is it more of a nerf? You can actually realistically make a difference in short battles as opposed to 30 second battles. Whipping out all your auras quicker is so nice.

Felt like lulu is boring! Still love Sona though. Mained her in ranked season 1 and in the start of season 2. think I have like 65% winrate with her.

Never played sona XD But, I do like LULU, Also never seen lulu since the patch...anyone ever see jayce top like iv seen it only by a friend of mine who is obsessed with him :( I MUST FACE ONE! Same win Xin people have been telling me he is great top but, never see it :(...eve is my new least fav champ to have on the enemy team those jungle ganks so anoyying :(

Despite being under-appreciated before, I've been maining her ever since I started, and I can definitely say she's a helluva lot better after the buffs she got. Dunno about Queen of the Supports, but she's definitely stronger now.
After dishing out a  Power Chord, you can just as quickly whip out another one in a very short amount of time that can effectively save your teammates. As an example, after hitting an enemy with her E Power Chord (Which slows your opponents), you can easily bring out another E Power Chord from doing Q, W, and then E again which allows you to slow two enemies really quickly.
