Thanks a million guys ^_^ now I need about 10 trillion more upvotes or so before a red notices, and then a few million after that and it might get implemented sometime next year :P That's how these things seem, at least :P

Honestly with the addition of the "themes" with PFE. I think they will be adding more skins like that that add icons and banners to your profile.

What happens when a champion gets a new skin? You lose the portrait?
Honestly I'd just rather they'd get on with implementing the achievement system that they talked about in season 1. That's how avatars were going to be unlocked in the first place.  Thanks to Lugignaf for the sig! |

I understand that a lot of people hate anything that helps reinforce the money-making aspect of the game, but it's needed for us to keep playing. If you're the type of person that takes pride in their skins (as I'm sure everyone with a skin does), then this idea should at least somewhat appeal to you. |

I submitted an Idea to Riot. Basically, I think that it would be really cool if once you owned all skins for a particular champion, you unlocked a basic face portrait of that champion to use as an avatar.
This would give a small amount more incentive to buy skins (works for riot), and reward us loyal dudes and ladies who stocked up our favorite champions with all the freshest clothes. (works for us).
If you support the idea, would you mind stopping by over at the official LoL forums and lending an upvote and maybe a comment or two to the cause? It'd be greatly appreciated!

EDIT: Yes, this would be EXCLUDING limited/prize skins and such. No worries there :P
EDIT: Yes, you would LOSE the avatar on the arrival of a new skin for that champion. No worries though, you love the champ so much you'll be buying that new skin anyway :)
