I have played this matchup now and I really do have a hard time seeing how jax can win? Teemos mobility and slow makes it hard for jax to get in that sustained damage. All the while teemo moves and shoots.

Tell me how you would play this match up as both.

im not a teemo player or a jax player but i assume jax using his dodge and leap combo on the squishie teemo would sorta destroy him

Be extremely aggressive with jax.
When I used to play jax vs teemo.
Get Q and E early, get a philo stone.
I usually start harassing at level 2 with Q>AA and see if he runs away.If yes u back off cause his MS is plain OP.If not use E and stun when he's trying to run away,he'd be stupid not too. Of course insert random Ws during the process.
Get phage asap to counter his MS,if teemo's slowed and you don step on his shrooms your sustained damage should be way better than his with your ultimate and leveled up W.
You need sustain in this lane because teemo has extremely great pokes with only his AA and Q.
If you let him use this to bully you often while you're acting like a sitting duck and that's gg.

Already from lvl 1 I could outharass him with aa and e. I max e and actually go full ap from start on runes, then I just build a bit tankier unless I smash him totally.

On lvl 1 he got fb on me a split second before he died cause I duelled him when he had double minions (my bad) after that I just ate him. He couldn't cs. Not at all. If he went in for q I just outtraded him.

I think it's a pretty even match. I don't normally see Teemo picked against Jax cause most people will think "auto attacks versus Counter Strike?" I've never tried that with the Philosopher's Stone, Txtvira, but now I'm curious to test it. The build you listed sounds logical but with just the philo for sustain I feel like Teemo would win.

Jax' dodge is easy to lure when you play an aggressive teemo, and you can still use W to stay back, I personally think Jax has a slight disadvantage

Thank you Tsuki for the sig!

IDK about how would this work in competitive play cause i never played jax vs teemo in rank.
I'm not a very good jax player
Look at my rank stats lol, everytime i pick jax i get the best teammates. Lost a game with 22 kills =[
but this is what i do against a teemo.
I even start with the regrowth pendant + bot because I know teemo will just aa me when i cs.
philo stone is for the mana because i need to Q+E+W him when I can, and the HP regen is for recovering from trades. The gold/5 is necessary cause teemo WILL out cs a jax in normal situations b4 tower goes down.

I think this is slightly in Teemo's favour if he's smart. If he's not, then Jax will jump on him and completely screw him over.

+Rep pls if I helped! One click doesn't hurt :D Check out my first guide featuring Darius (NEED MOAR VOTEZ)!

It's 100% a skill matchup.

A good Teemo will beat Jax if the Jax is bad. A good Jax will beat Teemo if the Teemo is bad.

What you should do is time Counter Strike with his Blinding Dart, as the stun + dodge lasts longer than the duration of his blind, then jump at him and slap Teemo around. It also won't matter if you're blinded while you hit him, you still get your passive stacks up which let you out-dps him.

You want to be super aggressive very early on, before Teemo gets Phage/ Frozen Mallet because before that he can't really kite you as well. I also recommend getting an early Bilgewater Cutlass and Phage for the slow.

Or you could build a lot of gp5 and just outscale Teemo :P

For teemo i think the lane is all about winning the lane pre 6, if not then you have trouble.
