You either want to raise your ELO
Or you want to play for fun. You can't do both, lol. After six games you will have no idea where your actual ELO is. After a hundred or two hundred ranked games you'll find your spot. Until then don't worry about it. Because the same bads and idiots that you get on your team one game may be against you the next so you can steamroll them. |

Just ask yourself: What went wrong in the 6 games, what should I improve on? Should I practice that on normal games or on ranked games?

I myself stopped playing ranked as I got too tryhard and emotional. I just occasionally play normal draft mode, when I log on at all.

Nothing wrong with 1200 elo its likely accurate. 1200 ELO is above average player

I hit 1314, haven't finished my 10 placement matches yet though and I only do it when I feel in the mood, and other friends aren't on. Which is really rare. Never be afraid to play ranked. Ranked gameplay is for 2 things. In order of importance, they are: Improvement, E-peen. Don't let the latter get in the way of doing the former.

I've played 600 games, won 310, so im pisitive wins, and pretty good, and i still dont play ranked lol. I just do draft for now.

If you're ready to play ranked, stop Qing for normals.
Then eventually ranked will feel natural, no big deal.

i play when i feel confident, so if I'm on a 5 game win streak ill go play one. Just dont take them to seriously. I've currently won 2 and lost 3

I've recently wanted to start playing ranked more because I enjoy it. This resulted in me playing one game and losing it. I've played a total of 6 ranked games and have 1200 ELO. I would like to get this up. Anyone have any ideas on how to get into ranked more? Or be able to not be scared to lose some ELO and play more :D
