There is no real number, it's just a matter of when you mentally can carry yourself in Ranked play. And hopefully when your teammates can at least do the same.

I consider it 1200 up, so yes you're out :P

More realistically though, 1700 and below is Elo Hell.

Other answers may include:
- Never
- Once you realise it doesn't exist
- Once you're at an elo where you're the one who makes the mistakes that costs you games (because let's face it, it's only elo hell when it's your teammates screwing up)
- Once you realise you're not as good as you think you are and you belong in the elo range that you're in

Thanks to jhoijhoi, GrandmasterD, The_Nameless_Bard, MissMaw, JEFFY40HANDS, Xiron and myself for the sigs!

There is no 'elo hell' as in it is defined by certain boundaries. The higher you get, the better players you will meet, both in the enemy team as in your own. There is no specific elo at which this so-called elo-hell ends. In my opinion, it is most certainly there but it simply is not defined by certain elo values.

Every ELO is hell.

If we should interpret it as: "at every elo there are ******s" then yes. Otherwise, no it gets better once you get higher.
