They really can't be compared. They fill two entirely different roles 99% of the time.
If you would consider which champion has proven to carry more high elo games as the "best", then Ahri is probably going to be your choice. Personally, given a choice of only buying those two champions, I'd buy Ahri every time. I actually bought Draven and do not own Ahri yet though, lol. I find Draven very gimmicky at best, and although he does have the ability to carry games, Ahri seems to be a lot more consistent.  |

 Draven is either very viable (Being able to catch axes, pay attention to your axes and the enemy at the same time, being able to catch axes on the chase, etc) or very, very terrible if you suck with the axe skill. XD

I think you guys misunderstand this as a "which champ is better" thread instead of a "which champ do you think I should buy" thread. He's just trying to pic a more enjoyable champ!
I'm a guy, and where I come from, guys aren't supposed to think too hard on small decisions. So I when it comes to stuff like ordering food or something, I just pick the first option or choose the first selection in alphabetical order (this case it would be  Ahri).Don't think too hard about it. They are both fun champs! Just pick one, what's the worst that can happen? You'll get more IP!  If you felt I contributed and stuff, can I have a (+1 Rep =3)?

but wtf are people doing comparing an adcarry to an apcarry? guys there are plenty of threads out there discussing "which champion to get" just play the one you enjoy most! Ideally try them in rotation and figure it out for yourself... greez sam |

I think ahri would be the better pick.
Draven takes forever to be super good with and can get countered pretty easy early on if the enemy knows how to zone properly. Ahri on the other hand is harder to zone and has less of a skill curve(draven by far is the highest skill curve in the game atm imo).
