You can change keybindings in the game's options menu. I believe there's a third party application that allows you to change the recommended items for each champion, but I'm not sure where to find it.

Also, default keys for using items is 1-6 on the top row.
They correspond to the slots. Hotkeys go like this. 123 456 And yes, you can change them.

As others have stated you can change the keybindings. I usually put Item 6 bound to the letter T.
In the beginning of the game move your Health pots to Item 6 and you can spam T (right next to your ult) to heal. Mid-Late game you can set your item that has an active effect i.e: Gunblade, Ghostblade, Zhonya's Hourglass to Item 6 and use the active whenever you press T. Example: Fiddlesticks charge ult and dive right into a team fight. They start to focus you immediately, just press T to activate hourglass and watch as they rage since your ult still goes while in stasis.

Zhyonas also works great after you transform into the crow as Swain, walk into the middle of a teamfight, and activate it. Same goes for Morgana after activating HER ult.

Sidenote, why is there so many noob haters in LoL? I have been playing online games since the begining of the 90's, and never have i seen this much ******** about people being noobs. Everyone playing this game has been novice, and asked questions and made misstakes ingame, they dont need to hear "stupid noob". If the "pro" can take time to write that, why cant he just take time to give advice instead? Tbh, more then once its the person that make the comment who would need the advice, it seems like he just try to blame the new guys, everytime they join a game and they notice its not a free win, and they actually have to work for it, they start to complain. Remember, everytime you say noob to a person that make a misstake, a littly kitten is dying. Anyway, thanks again for all the advice above, most helpful. |

I got a newbie question, is there anyway i can create keybindings on my own, for pots,
and also the gear recommended is not equal with the gear i would like to use.
So is it possible to change that gear, it would help me alot instead of scrolling all
the items everytime, as a newbie, its difficult to find all the gear.
