Feature Preview: Quick Builder and Search!

Hey guys, got a shiny new feature to show you :) We're still polishing it and testing for load but you're free to start using it right away, it is fully open to the public!

This new feature is called the quick builder! Go take a look!!

It lets you put together a build in very little time, just a few clicks. From there you can do two very important things.

Share Quick Builds

After making a quick build, you can click the "embed" button to get a link which you can paste on other sites, or bbcode to embed the build anywhere on MOBAFire. The system will automatically turn your quick build into a nice display, with tooltips and a link back to the quick builder. You can paste this in any comment, guide, article, anywhere on the site that supports bbcode. Here is an example build!

Search Guides By Build

If you click the "Guides" link above, or if you go to the quick builder and create a build now, you will see that you can search for guides by build! Pick as many or as few build components as you want, and click search, and you will get a list of any guides that use your build. Here is an example, this build has just enough components in it to filter the results down to a hand full of guides :)

We hope that this feature will make it much easier to discuss and share builds with each other, and will give you another powerful way to find guides tailored to your style of play. There are more features coming soon that will be tied to this new section, but for now give it a go and let us know what you think! Like it? Hate it? Want to improve it? Let us know!

Checking something....

EDIT: Yeah, masteries don't seem to be working. I double checked and I did set the masteries for this build, but it shows as 00/00/00.

EDIT 2: Also it seems to be hiding any text I put after the embedded build.

EDIT 3: Is it possible to keep the order in which the build is selected for presentation purposes? Right now it's alphabetizing everything which is incredibly annoying. For searches it won't matter, but if I try to show a build with this tool, it completely scrambles it. I'd also prefer if the rune order was locked to Marks-Seals-Glyphs-Quints and not dependent upon order or alphabetization.

EDIT 4: (Yay for edits!) Also, how did you get it to display custom text in the URL at the top? Mine just says "Nocturne" and I don't see a way to change it.

EDIT 5: I will also be disappointed if the masteries can't be viewed when you embed the build. Simply displaying "9/21/0" isn't all that helpful when the person viewing it can't tell where all the points go.
This text isn't showing up atm.

Thanks PsiGuard! Will fix the mastery count and ordering. We changed the look of it at the last minute, must not have hooked up the numbers. Hidden text after embed bug is fixed. To add custom text, just edit the embed bbcode and add title="This is my title!" :)

Mastery counts fixed. Also added a tooltip when you mouse over the masteries in an embedded quick build, that show the compact version of the mastery build. Still to fix: order of things maintained when embedding, and indication on the builder of which rune you have currently selected (right now you can't tell since the icons are so generic).

More to come!

Higher tier masteries can be spent without spending the required amount of points in lower tier masteries. Obviously you can do other goofy stuff with this like 2 flashes but that's a much more obvious mistake. Newer people might spend points in the masteries and not realize that it's impossible to make that build.
