Gravatar support and troubleshooting

This thread will solely be dedicated to gather all known issues while trying to get a custom avatar through Gravatar, and it'll hopefully give you whatever you might demand.

So..

.. Having issues with Gravatar, or anything related to your avatar? Read through the thread thoroughly, and you'll find the help you need. If not, just ask and you'll get as much help we can give you!

If you haven't done it yet, do it.

• Have your avatar as the default MOBAFire flames.
• Make a GRAVATAR Account. If you have one, log in.
• Double check your e-mail used on GRAVATAR and MOBAFire. Are they identical both? Put both in lower case letters to be sure.
• Upload your image, and rate it as 'G'. Choosing a different rating won't work.
• Wait. It can take one minute, or two days. Be patient!

Change it to the MOBAFire flame, and update your primary image. If that doesn't work go over above mentioned steps and see if you did something wrong. If necessary; repeat them.



In most cases it takes a while for it to update. Wait at least a day before freaking out, and two days before asking "What the f*** is wrong!?!?". If you did, and it's still not fixed, you can:

• Try editing your profile again. Go in and change the avatar AWAY from the default flames, save, refresh the page, change it back, save, refresh again, and wait.

And that's pretty much what I have for now.

If you stumble upon more issues be sure to address them here or in the original Custom Avatar thread.
This way we can find a solution quicker, and the quicker we find a solution, the quicker you'll have your answer,
and so will anyone else that might stumble upon it again as well!

nice thread. i don't have any other ideas as to what questions could be answered but if there is any i come up with i'll let you know.

Ok I did this and still got a black Avatar... I mean I learned to love it but its still black...

lol. racist.

What file-type is it, and what is it SUPPOSED to show?

Yea, my mom knows someone from work, and her kid knows a black family, that allows me to be racist. Mhh.

Not that Chaotic actually is a racist, MintBerry :) It was a joke from Caucheka's side.
