people think rep means something, it's a joke is basically all you need to know. People think the more rep you have the better a player you are, it's not true. Just don't take it seriously

Lol Shifty :P <3
This thread just goes to show that the FAQ wiki needs to be more visible to newer members. Like in the main menu bar, like I suggested a while ago, or it's own special spot as a thread in an "Official Sticky" box like Mowen suggested. |

Ignore Mooninites7.
We have systems in place to restrict cheating rep, and those that try to push it anyways will not make it past Scout status. We are not opposed to demotions if we discover someone has been abusing the rules. I don't know why you would associate it with in-game skill, unless you just have no idea where rep comes from. As soon as you know you get rep when people click that link by your name, it should be clear what it represents on the site.
"You've got red on you."

Real >.>
Well, can't say I'm surprised about this.
As you can see, Rep is something you give to people you like, people who make a funny joke and those who ask for it (or specifically do not, for that matter).
It was supposed to be given to those that are helpful and an asset to this community, but luckily those days are behind us. It's just a matter of popularity now :)
well I refuse to follow such an example. I +rep when someone is really really funny, or helpful to the max. Popularity-pfffff <.< *+reps jhoijhoi*
