I Remember a ex-girlfriend i had..
She had the most long beautiful hair. Her friends told her she'd look great with short hair. She got short hair. She hated it from the second she got it. When the hair got long and nice again, she wanted to colour it red... ^Women...^ Moral of the story. Men rarely give advice about womens looks, when they do. Listen.
