I actually just started my own stream myself. At first it was pretty confusing but all you really need to do is download xsplit, set up the region you want to show of your screen, set up FPS settings, connect your xsplit to own3d, jtv, twitchtv etc and just hit broadcast. real ezpz

I streamed LoL with 40 FPS~ on my laptop before I got my desktop. No issues. I think the processor is 2.6Ghz duo (i5 - 480M) and graphics card is Radeon HD 6370M 1GB.

Streaming isn't THAT intensive.

Depends, what settings were you streaming at? Streaming preset? Up/Down? Etc. Cause if you were just streaming at ~480p then it's not going to feel like there's that much of a hit on your speeds. Same if you're streaming at like 3 quality on 720p.

I think you mostly need a good processor. But if you are only planning to stream LoL it wouldn't be to hard. Dota 2 on the other hand... That stuff even hurts for me D:.

The processor is pretty important because that's where the encoding happens, which ****s with your performance. If you can't/don't want to OC then don't think about streaming in 720p (or higher) without at LEAST an i7 720.
