Haha, the DnD I've played hasn't ever been that extravagant. Having a 3D landscape must be awesome.

My favorite character thus far has definitely been my Eladrin Dark-Pact Warlock who didn't know he was in fact channeling evil powers. Rolling sanity checks every 5 minutes was very fun and created interesting situations. What makes DnD awesome however is not the game, but the people you are with. Especially the dungeon master.
