This game is one of the many pokemon onlines, but imo it's sooo much better. This uses a firered ROM and lets you play fire red with other people. Currently it's still in alpha and lacks a few major features:
Breeding
Elite 4
Legendaries
Sevii Islands
Selling items
Move retrainer
Other than that pretty much everything is implemented. Some specific abilities might not fully work, but that's about it. You can trade and duel from the moment you start, but you can't trade your starter pokemon until he's lvl 50.
The economy is based around lucky eggs (Chansey has 5% chance of having it equipped when caught), shiny pokemon and good natured EV trained pokemon. The interface is pretty solid and the combat interface is pretty much the same as the rom. Your progress will not be wiped when it moves out of alpha.
The only thing I find bad about this game, other than the extremely trollish nature of the global channel, is that you can't speed it up so you're forced to play at the normal speed. Sometimes it has a bit lag (half a second at most) but it doesn't affect the gameplay at all due to the nature of the pokemon games.
If you they don't allow you to register due to country restrictions just use a proxy. Google how to use a proxy on your browser if you don't know how to do it.
[quote=Canoas]Has anyone tried playing an online pokemon game before? If you're interested I found a pretty good one.
